Are my pistol's browning to early ?

Hi looking at my pics they are 5 wks since they first started to show sign's of pistols appearing,The plants thereselves are stunted as i know about 20 inch tall and not much vegitation.This last 2 weeks the pistol's which were allstood tall & bright white have now started to turn brown & shrivel and are getting worse but the buds have just started to form .... ! Do i have a problem ? I have been using a Fluresent tube which i know works as i have used it previously with no problem's.I have them in compost & polystyrine ball's with a Gravel bed on the bottom of 50mm. I've been feeding them on MG Slow Release Pellets which up to now were seem to be doing the trick.Is it also to late to give them a flush with bloom just the once ? as they only have 4 weeks left to Harvest. Was hoping for a bit more then a joint like lol... well hopfully in the end ill end up with a bit more..

What do people mean when they say check the trichs dont get it. This is my first time grow... She's got a lot of crystals.

trichs = trichomes (themz the crystalz, brutha and sista Tammy&Glen) Get a small pocket microscope (at least 35x magnification) and you'll be able to see the trichomes at a clear, cloudy and eventually amber color. You want mostly cloudy to amber. There are some decent posts on it somewhere on this site.
