That is a valid reason to question someone's nationality. however, after 'someone' show his or her proof of nationality what more can you ask from them. Why continue this pursuit after proof has been given.

My parents are not american citizens, but I was born in the US. after I show someone my birth certificate and us passport what other proof can I give as to my nationality. Why would someone question my nationality after these documents have been shown and verified. There must be some reason/motivation as to why this pursuit has continued.

as for the second part of your argument
Obama has instituted very few 'policies' so far. All of the 'policies' that have had been instituted are far to young to judge whether or not they have failed. Specifically, economically (because that is an important subject with our current condition) speaking it is impossible way to gauge this early if our efforts to correct it are a success or failure. Economics generally takes time. It took more than a year to create this mess and it will certainly take more than a year to fix. To say that he failed right now is absurd and shows a lack of knowledge on how the economic system works. Obama may fail or he may succeed. For the good of the country I hope he succeeds. However, I will reserve my opinion on the matter until after he is out of office and we can accurately gauge his performance. Nobody measures and finalizes an opinion on a runners performance a quarter way through the race, it's just silly.

I don't know exactly which 'policies' you are referring to as that word describes a broad range of topics. However, I predict that you didn't have any specific one's in mind at the time of typing that sentence. If you do have some specifics please choose ones that don't require a longer span than ~9 to 12 months to gauge success, that too is silly. Finally please use logic and critical thinking when formulating your ideas it helps to foster a useful discussion/argument and prevents everyone from wasting their time reading and arguing nonsense.

what was released was not the same as a genuine birth certificate, and there is questions of its validity

Every other President had two US citizens as parents. Obama doesn't. It has NOTHING to do with race...

Keep deflecting guys, but I think the VERY VERY SMALL request of releasing the LONG FORM BC is a reasonable request. The one with the DOCTOR'S actual signature is not alot to ask for. It's a SIMPLE request that can be cleared up in AN HOUR!!!

Okay, I just looked at all the pictures of the "birth certificate" and all I can say is that it is clearly a COPY of a certificate, it IS NOT THE ORIGINAL certificate. It was a copy that was reproduced in 2007 and it is reproduced on a new format of paper that was approved for the purpose of reproducing birth certificates in November of 2001. So with that "proof" I can honestly say you people who claim that this is the original are just a bunch of retarded moron sheep! It is very apparent that this is a copy. Why can he not produce the original certificate? My sister was born in '64 and my partner was born in '62 and yet they seem to have their ORIGINAL birth certificate that was given to my parents when they were first born. It doesn't make sense that he can't seem to find his or get a hold of it and that he's spent millions trying to keep this thing out of court. He's a big FAT LIAR!!!

It is difficult to fathom that the birthers actually believe Obama is an illegal alien. For, if he wasn't born in the U.S., since he hasn't applied for naturalization, he must therefore be illegal.

Surely, had Obama applied for naturalization, the record would have surfaced.

So, do you actually believe he is in this country illegally? It is my opinion that the birthers are so full of hate for a black president, that they don't analyize the facts, even superficially.

Encouraging people to believe the president is illegitimate encourages them to believe that he needs to be removed by any means necessary. It's stupid. It's dangerous.

i had to go back and get a replacement for my birth certificate as i lost both copies of mine, since getting that replacement the bitch that is now my ex stole my new birth certificate she even made the mistake of telling me she got it. doesnt matter tho if i need a birth certificate now i need to go get another replacment.. now im still who i am i will always have been born in the same place
and every new birth certificate that i get says the same as the first

obama has released his birth certificate it has been verified as being real yet i guess no one will be happy till its been handed around to each and every one of you for inspection...

Alright so the fact that the few "birthers" on this site have actually had the audacity to claim that they are neither stupid nor racist just makes me laugh.

Lets look at the facts shall we:

1. Although Obama has not produced his original birth certificate he has produced a official signed copy with the raised seal. Now this means that this copy was sent to him by the Hawaiian department of health which means that they have on record him being born in a Hawaiian hospital. That coupled with the fact that MULTIPLE Hawaiian department of health board members have certified that they have seen the records of his birth and that they are legitimate. This would be more than enough information to legally prove your citizenship and yet birthers still are not satisfied.

2. There are TWO separate newspapers that ran articles announcing the birth of Barack Obama in Hawaii. Now how/why would these newspapers print his birth if he was not actually born in Hawaii? The only logical answer is that he obviously has been planning to run for president since before he was even born so he faked newspaper announcements about his birth....

3. Barack Obama has left and entered the country on MULTIPLE occasions before running for president which would be impossible without some form of passport. The only way to get an American passport is to have an American birth certificate so he has either had an American birth certificate his whole life or he would have a passport for a different country.

Therefore the only logical explanation is that he is a natural American citizen or his PARENTS went through an insane amount of trouble to make it look like he was a natural born citizen seeing as how there are MULTIPLE documents stating his Hawaiian birth. Either way this is out of his control and for all intensive purposes he has proven beyond any REASONABLE doubt that he is a natural born citizen so anyone claiming he is not must be stupid or racist. If you are not racist against him then you are just plain stupid seeing as how there are several documents proving his natural citizenship and literally ZERO evidence proving he is not. The only thing close to evidence going against him is that he has not produced his ORIGINAL birth certificate and there is nothing in the constitution that says he has to prove he is a natural born citizen by producing an original birth certificate....

So if I am getting this right the people who think Obama wasn't born in the US thinks the Secret Service, CIA, FBI, and other agencies are so inept that they would allow a non-born citizen not only run for president but win? 1. Why is an official copy from the Health Department of Hawaii enough evidence to prove citizenship to every government agency, company, employer, and school in America and yet for you its not? Why do you get to require a higher standard of proof than anyone else? Shit happens to pieces of paper over the course of 40 fucking years. Why do you think they make official copies? So they can replace your original if something happens to it while still carrying the same validity.... An official copy that has been verified by the Hawaiian health board is every bit as valid as the original that was issued.

2. While I do agree that the newspaper ads legally mean nothing they help to add to the massive amount of evidence on the side of Obama. What does legally mean something though is the OFFICIAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE COPY that he has released. However even with this legal evidence you choose to just ignore it along with the non-legal evidence.... (now ask yourself is that racist or stupid? cause I'm having a pretty hard time seeing how it can be much of anything else...)

3. Finally I can not find any records of him having anything but an American passport so I would love for you to show me this evidence. However once again the fact remains that he has an American passport and has had it for years before ever running to even become a senator. Therefore he MUST be an American citizen (because you can't get a US passport without citizenship) and seeing as how he has no naturalization record he OBVIOUSLY got his US Passport by being a natural born citizen.

4. Finally the fact that he has no naturalization record but has American citizenship should be more than enough to seal the deal because the only way this could be done is if his parents faked his birth certificate basically the day he was born

5. If his mother had been out of the country on the day that he was born there would be records of it but there are no such records of her being out of the country.

Once again in conclusion there is ZERO evidence that he is not a natural born citizen. However there is both legally certifiable evidence and non legally certifiable evidence that he is a natural born citizen.
