Are banana peals good for growing my plant in the vegitative state?

hi, i just need any advice anybody is willing to give me, i'm in the process of my first grow, ever, and just looking for anything that could be useful.

They need to be composted down first. You just can't stick peels in the pots and expect great results.

i've been using coffee grounds also but im interested in finding out how egg shells would contribute, does anyone know exactly what they do for the plants?

so how long should a decent pile of compost take to decompose so i can feed it to my plant? or does it matter what's in it and that's how it will determine how long it will take?

I have a challenge for you.... check out Google and do the research, then you can report back and contribute what you have learned here...

So you aren't willing to help us out and share what you learn, but you want us to spoon feed you, is that a correct assessment than? I meant it as a fun challenge, but that's ok, keep asking for spoon feeding..... you'll learn so much that way

We told you to compost your bananas, now you are going to ask how to compost... look it up and do some research, then when someone asks, you can be an expert on what you researched, not rely on what you were told...

LOL, I agree. I've been a member for 9 or 10 months and I still have not started athread. I kinda just surf around for info on here And answer sme questions that I know. Now people just jump in without trying to gain information for themself. I like to be alittle informed before I ask questions IMO.
