are aeroponics worth it?

im thinking of buying the amazon aeroponics system.

what im asking is £125 is a lot of money, as well as buying electronic ec/ph meters.

ive already got bio bizz nutes, but would i need hydroponic specific nutrients?

im using cfls atm but im upgrading to a 250w hps with a cooltube.

right now im looking for a cost effective hydrosystem.

its between 4 oxypots, an NFT system or an aeroponics system. i havent got the time to build it myself and its only for personal use. uk laws apply anyway.

thanks for the help so far guys

i dont know why you dont want to build one yourself...it takes like 30 minutes to make a system at home. no joke.

Ive built an aero cloner in under 10 minutes, and an actual res + fence post system in about 40. its pretty easy

Depending on how many plants you want to do, size you have to work with, light, etc. etc. Google it, most of the hits that come up are going to be for here at RIU heh. =)

i know theres literally hundreds, has anyone had success with plans etc? i know it all comes down to how well i build it
and as the first post says, 4 plants at a time and a 250w hps.

Stinkbud has his own site dedicated to his methods and systems, his DVD is a good
buy and a small price to pay for something that will pay off so much more in the long
run.

Earl is also a aero guru with some awesome designs. His are a bit more complex but
typically run almost completely with switches/timers. I also like how his system leaves
you easily able to fix sprayer heads when they clog.
