Just wondering if anyone has tried aquaponics and what the results are.

I've run into a few people who have tried it, most of them were pretty experienced growers. One did it in a tub underneath the plant he grew with the fish.

Another said she did more reef keeping, but reports continue to trickle in of its potential. It's been around awhile, for sure.

Dont know much about aquaponics, but came across this article the other day on a seaweed farm in Austin, TX that uses aquaponics. They grow tomatoes, seaweed and also raise certain types of fish for sale to local restaurants. Pretty intresting setup, I thought and looks like they get good results.

100% organic, 3 300 watt CFls, 1month veg 3 weeks into flower. Aquaponics works but it's an experiment with many theories so give it a shot

1k watt hps and 8 light t5. its only been cycling for about 4 or 5 weeks. lights are on flowering mode because I want to see about when the girls really start getting newts.
