Just wondering if anyone is has uses the aqualine ec trucheon, looks a bit like the bluelab but half the price. Want to get into hydro but dont want to spend a fortune to find out its not for me so any feedback would be great cheers
Unlike pH meters, good ec/tds meters are cheap. I have 2 used com-80 from HM Digital, cost me about $10 each on ebay. Calibration solution is a good idea.
Im ok ph meter iv had one for a while which work fine, iv read some people dont even bother with ec/tds meters but just starting id be guessing really.

if you are doing hydro, EC meter is very important too. i would spend more $ on a high quality pH meter since accuracy in pH is more important than in EC
