Aqua globes

i saw these things on the tv the other night called aqua globes. basically they're a self plant waterer, made of glass. Has anyone tried these before with weed, and do they even do what they promise? im mainly worried they might overwater your plants and cause root rot

nothing on tv works the way you want it to and IMO id rather control everything i can about my plants. dont take the easy way out itll show in your product

those are intended more for garden use, they'll work fine for your plants but are kind of a pain in the butt for refilling / keeping an eye on the water level / etc.

I could see over watering being a problem also with the aqua globes
