A51 emailed me back, told me that each unit is roughly 400wats, 2 units is 600wats--not really sure how that breaks down but I'll go with it.
He spoke about BluLines product of Appollo, I liked the fact he didnt go right to bashing their product. Just pointed out aspects that are facts and allow the buyer to value the knowledge they share...
I must say their customer support is topnotch...I will be buying a unit fro, A51 and I'll post some feedback once I receive my unit--before I go and buy a ton of the units I want to make sure the product feels, looks, and works the way its described. I'd rather be out of $500 dollars instead of $6,500 dollars
but I dont think that is a issue, Jeff seems to be a really down to earth kind of guy; he sounds like hes very passionate about making a working product that works for the growers and not some Chinese company popping out units for the sake of making money.
The PAR of the new SGS-160 Cree lamp is between that of a 400w and a 600w, and the coverage is up to 9 sq ft (6 sq ft ideal), so watt for watt and coverage for coverage, 2 units will replace a 600w HPS. The PAR comparisons are pretty accurate too because we use mostly full spectrum white, the comparison is from 400-800nm, rather a few nm in the blue and a few in the red like how a lot of comparisons are done. (hence the 90w UFO and 400w HPS comparisons that are all too common)
