Dont see it just smell mildew on top of 1 of my plants wos SB. upped temp. and lowered humidity but smell still there on just the 1. Any advise how i might reverse the smell and taste damage ?
might be budrot.. dig into the cola and see if there is any brown stinky dead matter.. bud rot can ruin colas without any visual evidence till you break it up and its rotted between the stem and bud. Try to keep lots of air movement around the plants.. keep humidity around 35-45% during flower... water right when lights come on so the moisture ontop of the pots can evaporate during the 12 hours of light.. make sure your exhaust is up to task.... dont spray any foilar sprays during mid to late flower.. thats about all I can think of at the time... Good Luck.. hope the damage isnt toooo bad .
Ozone not only kills the smell but the spores also...warning , dont breath it or expose plants to it ..it causes necrotic tissue in lungs ...oh,,and the plants wilt.
Thanks for the response air intake around plants is maybe to high but out take a lil slower especially at nite when i close bathroom door. will keep door open at nite but if it is bud rot anything i can do about it outside of humidity and airflow ?
you need a very active exhaust .. the amount of moisture that your plants put off during late flower will cause the rot.. do you have a humidity gauge.. you can get them for a couple bucks up to about 20 bucks if you want a digital one. Besides light and water.. the most important things in your room are temps and humidity .. warm damp air is a killer
Thanks again Alot, Pinched into cola bud toke some smaller leaves off the top very fruity euclyptus smell Fargin awesome but yet that smell on top wtf ?
I would just keep the airflow good.. keep looking for where the smell is coming from.. if you locate it .. just try to cut the rotted part out.. but if you cant locate it .. all you can do is keep the airflow good and chop out whatever rotted when you harvest and trim... think the room might just smell like that because your exhaust is not great?? do the pots have a way to drain freely .. soil isnt constantly moist?
I should add tho.. be careful like someone else mention.. if there is mildew/mold in the air you dont really wanna be breathing it .. try to find a way to exhaust the room straight outside... so the room is always under negative pressure and the air wont come back into your house .... Got any pics of the girl ?
