Where do buds start forming on the plant exactly? In the space where the female preflowers sit? In the nook that's in between the stem and the nodes? I think I have some flowering going on now, but this is my first time so I don't know for sure.jdubwetherell1988 said:

no, buds don't usually form where you first see preflowers, which is kind of odd, i know. buds usually start forming at the end of the main branches, usually at the top of the plants, these will be your main colas..
where you see heavy pistil formation, these will slowly start to form buds, just not the preflowers, but real pistil groups.. hope that helps a bit m8..
