Hello all. I've been thinking about whether to grow 1 decent sized plant or maybe a few plants that are vegged for a month. I realize the benefits of having 1 bigger plant. With topping and vegging longer, you can get a higher yield per plant. What my questions are about are going with smaller plants. On average what can 1 small plant yield? What is the minimum height until ready for flowering? I've read on here somewhere around 5 in. Maybe that's totally wrong. I realize yield can change considering genetics, nutes, light, etc., just asking for an average.
Reason I'm considering the smaller plant path is that I would like to have 1 female, clone that plant and not have to wait for such long sprouting/vegging time to get a huge plant. That way I can stagger a few smaller plants every few weeks and harvest more often.
