im revegging some plants a friend gave me asking how long you think it will take to revert to normal growth... heres their history:

they were started in the winter and put in a greenhouse several weeks ago and started to flower with the short datys but as its growing longer days here (california) his plan was to let them reveg till late june when the natural cycle is due to make them flower sall the way thru. So I got some of his extra plants I am going to use inside as monsters so my question is how long you think its going to take hoping to flower them by the end of this month..

So at this time i have had them for a week and given them 24 hour light scheduale and a boost of nitrogen to make them burst back in to veg hopefully.. im thinking since they didnt go full on thru flower i maybe able to flower this month ??? let me know your reveg expereince since there isnt really a thread about this

It seems to take forever to get back to veggin,But ive done it lots of time. After i had flowered 1 i left just a few little buds and changed photoperiod to 18/6 and used it for a mother plant for over a year.Gonna be real freaky lookin but worth it for my case!It was a strain i made from Ak47xjuicy fruit.Had mom for 2 years and many grows as i was doing a perpetual grow getting 6 plants every 3 months.

I miss watching the juicy fruit grow :) Beech its been a long time brother.....But on the topic here, i hate a revegged plant due to its retarded appearence, but it will still be a good plant and final product. #1 rule to this game we play here is....PATIENCE.....give her time and she will revert to growing again ;) Good luck to you and beech get ahold of me :)

Not that I have an interest to start a reveg but curiosity makes me ask how many times could
1 plant be reveg? what would the draw back to multiple re-vegings?

right on the money. Re-veg takes about 1-2 months, depending on how far the plant was in to flower. Like mentioned above, the plant is going to look funny and have some weird growth, but it will recover and can be used as a mother or to even re-flower. i would argue that you can clone from it a lot sooner that you can re-enter it in to full on flowering.

Have a look at these plants:

These are clone that were taken off of a plant that was 5-6 weeks into flower. When the clones were taken, they had popcorn sized buds on them. They rooted in about 1.5 weeks with seedling mat. They have now been in 1/2 gallon pots for a month and this is the result. The growth is very strange but it is growing... Realistically 2 months veg time.
