anyone using powder molasses with super soil?

Im making a 40 gallon batch of subs soil but it's slightly modified. My question is instead of using unsulfured blackstrap (syrup type) in water, why not just add powdered to the soil mix and cook away. Does anyone have any experience with powdered molasses or even mixing a carbohydrate source into the soil before cooking it for 2 months? I've got some mixing and aerating to do today, so I figured shit why not right?

or even Brown sugar would work the same as molasses as its not refined.
