Anyone use thegeneticistdepot .com seedbank ?

I recently seen them on IG posting great deals but its a little different spelling on IG if you look you'll see thats where alot of guys sell on their personal auctions just like strainley but they pride themselves on repeat business but this nutsack at thegeneticistdepot.com doesn't apparently. But when I checked the full site it looks more then legit but the main red flag they have seeds that have been out of stock everywhere else for a while if not years even like Og Raskal hasn't made seeds in years but they have like 3 of his White fire Alien og crosses and a bunch of SJG gear along with Thugpug and Exotic qnd CSI Humboldt which I thought maybe he's got some kind of hookup on old stuff or had a bunch stuffed away for a time like now was my hopefull guess. But there was some red flags with no reviews other then their inhouse store site only reviews nothing could I find on any other trusted forum so I decided to start my own In case this order doesn't go through but seeing as it was a 2for1 bogo on some hard to finds I said I'll do a tester buy with Compound genetics Jokerz and Labomba so I place the order a little late around 11p EST but he emails immediately back within seconds saying thank you for placing your order with us would you like to pay cash,m/o or cashapp so I asked how long would it take after payment to send out he said immediately he'd send out next morning which I've had happen before so I thought heck ya sounds legit looks lile a quality site not a cheapo quicky its pretty legit if you check it out you'll see what Im saying and they even offer a few rare clippings world wide shipping so I was gonna be their advocate & tell my buddies just found a sweet spot to get some hard to finds for a good deals. so I place the order and then ask him how do I send via cashapp whats the name to send to he returns that email within a minute tops tells me the name to use for cashapp and ai ask how fast after I pay will it be sent out and tracking he said tomorrow morning it will go out with tracking so I immediately sent the $150 it showed successfully sent & payment received so I waited till next day to email but no response or hear back nothing so I sent a DM on IG nothing but I see he can see the message so he's being a fukboy not returning your message or email all I have asked nicely is did you get that payment I sent was just making sure everything's ok? Still Nothing back for 12hrs but I say hey can I change my order still if it hasn't been sent he returns that email and says sure if you'd like I can do that for you from one thats instock but I say we'll I just think I'll stick with my original order and back to no response I'm going on day 3 today with no response to my payments or tracking its really weird but Im gonna go ahead an call it at this point I've emailed again today and sent another message on IG post he erases any comments so u can't forwarn another person I guess because thats not how any legit company or even a so called company would react to sending money to them Im like I have another order I placed to make them hopefully see hey if I do this thing right I could be making 3x more money but obviously they don't care smdh.

That place is a straight up scam. The person who is scamming wrote in reviews saying they were people on here and no one ever ordered from him. So many red flags. Plus a bunch of breeders and seedbanks are saying it’s a scam.

Yes your right I felt the same way but he made such a nice web site lol he sold me on that part but I knew with all those old packs of Raskal was the biggest red flag I should have listen to my gut but were did you see breeders post that I looked for a solid day before I decided to test them out but at least I didn't make some big purchase but man I even tried emailing and hitting a couple breeders up to see if that was their gear but they never responded about it. I asked a couple buddies from IG too go look at his site & see what they thought but they felt the same as me saying it looked too good to be true but also kind of legit also. But ya were did you see those breeders talking about this site as a scam ? I wish I could have seen that before but Im making this to warn anyone else thinking it might be a nice seedbank.

With so many legit seedbanks around you shouldn't be getting scammed these days, make sure you review and ask around before making a purchase. I can think of at least 10 usa seedbank that are legit, and carry top notch breeders/genetics and have fast service.

Doesnt matter how good the site looks, if its too good to be true, then its too good to be true. Hes been scamming people for a couple months now, im sure he'll change the name soon.

I wasn't the only one looking for this info, there just wasnt any posts to forwarn our Community that he's a known scam artist. I appreciate coming out after the fact and act like this is something been talked about warning all of us but we couldn't find a single bit of info other then his fake reviews. I had 2 buddies look around with me on google & forums nothing was posted about the scumbag thats why Im coming to our community to keep us informed. I sure don't want to see one of you loose your hard earned money. This isn't a spot to make the guy who tried to do the home work feel like he was a bone head for taking a chance and trying to support the company.‍ I'm going to make it my point to post it Loud and clear now that I lost my $ WARNING WARNING thegeneticistdepot.com NOT A REAL COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

For sure, i understand. When i first saw it i saw some packs that were hard to get but they had them. Just seemed too good to be true so i waited for someone else to try it. The person scamming actually came on this forum posting in the thugpug page and a couple other pages. As far as the breeders posting about it. They must have posted it in their stories. The ones i know for sure posted about it are exotic mike, meangene, the seedbank terpyseeds, and this other guy(who i think does auctions) smokedout_skunk. I wish i would have taken pics of their stories now but i didn’t know this would come up again. Here is the only person with it on their page still.

Yup I sure did my Homework I even went on Ig and messaged Thugpug SJG and Compound to see if the dude was legit but nobody returned any message then I Google searched for a entire day and Forum searched which if there is even one post Google will pull it up but me and 2 other guys that looked at the site and buy seeds alot couldn't decide if it was fake or real so I gave it a shot but you can believe I will be making sure its Known about in our Community I value because I care enough about yall to not let this scum steal your money if you do your Hw and search you'll find these posts now‍.smdh

I've used most of these and all are legit.

Yessir we know about those they are the main legit ones that everything sells out pretty fast but they definitely send you your gear every time. I love Neptune and OES they are my 2 favs but I know I should have waited now lol. He finally emailed me back this morning said to my I guess your a scamm artist reply email saying he sent them 4days ago lol I replied with why wouldn't you have just said that when you did it or why no tracking anyone sending 100s of dollars worth of anything gets some sort of firstclass mail or priority tracking and of course no reply lol. I've never not gotten tracking even with blowjoe seed auctions on IG I get tracking next day so I started getting maybe a little too trusting thinking there's waaayy too many seeds these days on the market to need to scam anyone this is the first I've actually come across pulling this stunt in a long time tbh, but I really do appreciate this community and all of you who have replied so far its always been my goto for good solid info I don't blame anyone but myself and unless you can handle loosing the order don't make it is what I always said . But for this great community is why I decided to make this thread just to help the ones that might see his site and think its a good deal but wanna Google search & do some hw they will see this now and know its a sham unless I suddenly get my seeds in which you can better believe I will post about and apologize for being a jack ass.

The main thing to take from it is- if a relatively unknown seedbank has breeder strains and crosses that are sold out or not it stock anywhere else than it is most likely a scam. Unless your online during a live drop, it's pretty hard to get sold out packs anywhere. Another thing I'll add is be weary of the auctions, there's lots of scams on those things and they're on legit seedbank sites, they're more of like a ebay section for seeds. Though on the auction area the seeds are usually marked up by huge %s. From what I've seen the auctions don't do any verification or vetting so anyone could just post some pics and try to sell you a $1500 pack of seeds. Ridiculous

Hey buddy so I wanted to ask have you or anyone heard of bankofseeds.com they have a bunch of hard to gets also so red flag but theres a couple other banks that I know are legit & have hard to finds also granted Banks of seeds has some particulars Im after but after the last deal Im not doing anything untill I get full confirmation from yall that its solid? Sorry to keep asking but its seed buying season and I wanna keep from loosing anymore?

Haha thats funny I was checking out them the other day as well, I was going to make a post asking about them, they had some compound genetics packs, I haven't seen in years . They have an Instagram which is followed by some breeders but that doesn't mean shit. I would not order from them myself, seemed a lil sketch and I couldn't tell if they were even in the USA.

See why I say this is my favorite upcoming breeder is Jambalabs and he has Flame if your not on IG its an amazing platform to find the real guys and the mediocre breeders which nothing wrong with learning just don't sell me them and call it fire when you don't have your A game yet and there is alot of new breeders granted handfull of them are making incredible fire. One I know who is making incredibly special cultivars from Mag Opus and Animal Mints & the reason yall don't hear about him he is a humble guy that doesn't care about hype or fame he just enjoys what he does but he's only on 1 seedbank called helladankseeds Google it review it I can vouch for it I bought several packs from them they are extremely reliable honest and hook it up with damn good freebees especially Jambalabs so even though uts 150 he gives u full 12 pack freebees of his goodies like I got his best creation to date imho is Raisins (reg) =Dosidos# 23 x Magnum Opus with a full pk of Orange Breath mints (reg) Orange Julius x Animal Mints freebees so they basically are 75 a pk when u look at it like that but helladank seedbank is fairly new but hes up and coming working on expanding granted if u look at the site its a little lower grade so u might think sketchy it's not like I said I bought 2x both extremely pleased how fast I received tracking # and my package during covid I've got within 4days after with great payment options and great selection alot of good breeders but you won't find it talked about alot. Another is Sungrowngenetics.com it's a bad ass breeder out of Norcal who is making incredible stuff with Wedding cake x Blue Mac father and a couple others but you can find his gear on alot of big seedbanks granted he has his own seedbank just for his seeds very quality site and ships fast and hooks it up like no other his pics are all sungrown terps which if you know thats the most flavorful hands down and gets me 2x higher then 28% Indoor bagappeal but not that Jamba or any indoor breeders seeds are less quality then a sungrown breeder its just different styles and if your planning on growing indoor iys best to get them from an indoor breeder vs if your growing full sun or hoophouse you want outdoor breeders like HSO also. I hate telling everyone about my sweet hookups lol but these 2 breeders deserve the recognition they are in the shadows of the big guys doing Fire work and Sungrowngenetics is expensive on other seedbanks but not on his site he has stoopid good deals not to mention he sells his testers which are solid breeder males tried and true so its no test lol your gonna get fire lol for $30 a 12pk and freebees onto of that but right now he's doing site wide 50% off so those are 15$ I just grabbed a few but also a few other banks that have killer deals yall don't really talk about on here if I search can't find them yet I know they are solid. If u want Fire indoor seeds Jambalabs os your new guy with something incredibly special & raisins will never be made again check his Blue Breathmints and Atlantic Puffin Im talking if u go look at these pics of his strains Google search them or go to his IG you'll see he's not playing around and every strain he drops has been tested and made solid as he can before he releases them hes no slouch or sungrown both are incredible.

it sucks you got scammed man. Honestly i hope you get what you paid for but i just don’t believe it. You make a good point in that it will be nice to have an actual thread for anyone new searching. I found a couple more posts about this scammer. Apparently he’s still at it.
