Anyone use the MicroMole 600W Dimmable Digital Ballast?

I'm setting up a second flower area and want to put a 600/400 dimmable ballast in it. I was going to go with the Lumantek but I'm hearing good things about the MicroMole. Anyone have experience with it?

After almost 7 years my Lumatek died today...RIP. Called my grow store guy to make sure he had the Lumatek I wanted. He said sure but he would rather I get the MicroMole Digital Ballast instead. I'm pretty well immune to sales hype so I nicely put him through the ringer and my last question was "So you're using one now right? Turns out he is and has for the past three years. I live where Trainwreck and an OG Kush strain were developed...A LOT of long time master growers around. My point is Grow stores around here know better than to push a product unless it's a good solid one. So tomorrow I'll be going down to pick up a MicroMole digital ballast. In a few months, if I remember, I'll post an update.

I thought the micro MOLE would workout for me. Ive blown 3 in the last year. No problems with other electronic or magnetic ballasts in that hut for 3 years prior to purchasing and switching to micro mole. It usually occurs after "dimming" up 750-1000 watts. Blew a 180 dollar bulb too. The manufacturer/retailer guarantees it for 3 years, but I don't know if I want to go through the worry of it blowing out again.

I tried a Nextgen ballast but the fans started making a grinding noise and then I started smelling a burnt smell. I need to pull it apart and see how difficult/expensive it would be to replace the fans. Replaced with a Lumatek. All my store had was the dimmable with the "Super Lumens" setting but I'm good at sticking with the standard 600W.
