You can buy replacement lids. Plastic with gaskets. They won't wear out.The seals on the lids end up going bad eventually
Yes they do and they are cheap to replace. They are considered consumables when canning. The seals on the lids end up going bad eventually

Aye I’ve had that too. Since happening I’ve been more careful about not putting so much stress on where the lock meets the bag itself but rather prise them apart on the join. Not had 1 rip since and i use an oz bag for daily openingI’ve become a convert to the Grove Bag. After a few runs & cures using them, I do have a gripe though. The ziplock channel (usually the female end) have a proclivity for becoming separated from the bag itself. Kind of a shitter, but as I think @Rsawr once said, the form factor over jars is kinda nice.
Do they seal good without heatAye I’ve had that too. Since happening I’ve been more careful about not putting so much stress on where the lock meets the bag itself but rather prise them apart on the join. Not had 1 rip since and i use an oz bag for daily opening
Nah I can still smell my bud through them, especially the strong stuff. Heat sealed I’d imagine no smell but not done it yetDo they seal good without heat
Yeah, no real scent emitted from the bag. I will say that heat sealing is a must. Again, the heat sealing is often what exasperates the zip channel coming apart, so you just have to be careful. Still a little learning curveHeat sealed I’d imagine no smell
