Anyone use green light spectrum during grow.

I have a few cfl green lights because I saw a vid where ed rosethal said green light emitting on plants creates bountiful growth in marijuana plants, fact or fake ?

Interesting never heard that one before. What I have heard is that green light doesnt affect the photoperiod of a plant in flowering state to a certain degree. I use one and a green led head lamp for mintues when I still need to do some work in the flower room when the lights are off.

As far as everything I've ever read (High school biology, here, other forums, etc) plants don't absorb green, they reflect it, which is why the human eye sees them as green. I'd be more than willing to do some reading if somebody has evidence to back up the idea that plants do actually absorb it, but from what I've read the amount is so minimal that it's not worth the cost and has little to no benefit. I'm a believer in full-spectrum lighting, but that's not to say great results cannot be had from LED's that are fine tuned to specific NM wavelengths. I'm sure they do absorb some green, but it would be in the limited areas of that short spectrum that the plant isn't. There are a lot of "greens", every plant has their own shade of it.
