Has anyone that has used the full line of GH flora sieries for a complete grow tried the grow and bloom formulas of Dyna grow for a complete grow? and which did you see the best results? What type of system were you using?I am currently using the full line of GH in a aero flo 60 and considering trying Dyna.price seems better dont know about results.Any feed back on Dyna products would be greatly appreciated thanx:-P

i tryed the dyna gro profoliage in my hp SYSTEM AND COULDNT GET IT TO WORK. PLANTS ALWAYS LOOKED LIME GREEN AND MAG DEF. SWITCHED BACK TO gh AND THINGS TURNED NORMAL LOOKING AGAIN.
WHEN I CHANGED FROM THE DYNAGRO BACK TO GH I KEPT THE INPUT EC THE SAME BUT THE FIRST DAY AFTER SWITCHING BACK TO GH THE RUNOFF NUMBERS STARTED COMING IN 100PPM LOWER IN THE RUNOFF. nOT SURE WHY BUT I THINK IT HAD TO DO WITH THE RATIO OF AMMONIA AND NITRATE IN THE DYNAGRO. OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST THE HP AERO AS IT IS SENSITIVE TO LITTLE THINGS. EITHER WAY IM HAPPIER WITH THE GH 3 PART IVE USED FOR 15 YEARS. I DO LIKE THERE 3-1-2 RATIO BUT CAN GET THAT FROM GH ALSO.

Good to know as I am in the proses of building a small HP aero setup to test to see if I will build a large unit .Do you use the recommended portions? If not how do you mix yours?

i just mixed to a certain ec level with the dynagro. the ratio is all i was concerned with. so i just started adding to the res to get the appropriate ec i wanted since it was a one part mix.

same process with the GH3 part only now you have to mix 3 different bottles to get the ratio. just mix according to the ratio and then adjust by diluting to appropriate ec level you want.

I'll probably will get ripped a new one......I hate Gyna gro bloom. Way to strong, even at half strength. Ruined my foliage and gave the eagles claw on a really tough strain. Ive used full strength AN and never seen that before. Throw it out...... Good Luck,SS

Dyna-Gro Foliage-pro is OK for outdoor soil grows other wise it is a PITA and not worth using for what little you would save over GH or a comparable fertilizer formulated for indoor inert media hydro. I would not recommend its use to anyone growing inert hydro indoors under lights unless they are using a pH controller. It is designed for outdoor growing not indoor hydro in inert media. I went through the drill with Uncle Ben about this touted Dyna-Gro and he even posted several scientific studies trying to prove a high ammonium fertilzer such as Dyna-gro was a good product. Both of his linked test reports simply showed that such formulas cause pH declines and that the researchers recommended they be corrected with constant use of a pH controller so as to keep the pH in a range to provide optium nutrient availablity.

So Aerodro if you can prove something different please post the links to the research reports that varify your claims. Other wise simply chill out as you are wrong as was Uncle Ben. Yes Dyna-gro is in a class of its own. Well not really they are now playing the same deception type games as Fat Mikie at AN, but at least his nutrients work well on indoor, inert media, hydro, grown under lights without out the major pH problems typical to Dyna-gro used for the same grow. So if you thinks that a rates status as a class all of its own, believe it as you wish as Uncle Ben the Dirt grower is likely the only one who will ever agree with you.

The last half of your post Aerodro is just off the wall poliical drivel that has nothing to do with the thread topic.

Are you a manic depressive who is off his meds?

Dude, Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro, the most commonly used Dyna-Gro productused by inept growers of mj contains only 0.5% magnesium, and only 5% calcium. By the time you dilute the formulation down to a usable strength it is low in calcium and magnesium both. Its micro nutrient concentrations are also far from recommended levels once the solution is diluted to a usable strength for indoor inert hydro. Its nitrogen percentage as ammonium is way to high. It should never be above 15% of the total nitrogen and it is over 32%. Over double the maximum recommended levels for indoor hydro under lights.

I would recoomend Dyna-Gro for indoor inert hydro if they offered to pay me to do so unless I clearly also stated I do not recomend their use without a pH controller.

Heck Dyna-Gro does not even work well with drain to waste aero.

with all due respect to everyone, if something works for you dont screw with it! im not a rocket scientist so ill stick with my gh-flora series nutes & their feeding schedule thats brought me success & if you do something different ill keep an open mind & not put you down even if i dont agree with it ill treat you with due respect ,i hope others will do the same we have a good thing going here so dont let one individual fuck it up
