Hi. The plants are 9 days from seed and only three out of 21 have started twisting . I've never come across this before and cant find any information about it , Does any one know why this has happened?

sometimes bad genes causes messed up leaves, id say to keep an eye on the new growth. Sometimes this just happens at early stages and plants get over it.

I have had that happen on 2 seperate occasions... let me know if either of these applies to you (a) accidentally/intentionally used soil with fert in it- whether it's time released nutes or miragle grow soil doesn't matter (b) there are multiple bulbs either too far away or too far apart which I learned causes the leaves to freak out and grow in both directions to absorb from all light sources. Like I said, if either of these applies let me know, and I'll walk you through fixing the problem

Hi. I did use soil with ferts in,It was all i could get my hands on at the time( i was to stoned to venture out of town). It was john innes no2 witch only has a small amount witch i thought woud carry them through veg then i was going to flush when i turned to 12/12 then start using bionic bloom. Are you thinking it might be the nuits that are twisting them? Have you had the same problem?

yes, on the batch I have running now I did an experiement using only a few time release nutrients in the soil and the plants with the nutes started doing what yours is doing now... it progressively worsened quickly to the point where the new growth started to "pinch" itself. The solution is simple... drench the little ones now and replant in new soil w/no nutes in it pronto. You're catching it earlier enough that it should still grow pretty well

I also had a plant in MG soil curl up once. However it was different, it made my leaves shrivel way more and slowly turned them brown. Flushed the MG and the plant kept on growing fine. Not trying to disagree just some more input :bigjoint:

wouldn't be a problem if wanted to disagree :-) More experiences between more growers makes life easier on the newb I say. I certainly appreciated any info I could get on my first batch
