Really? They don't look much like the pics when I Google springtales? Perhaps in a larvae stage. Thanks man, I'll look into sorting them

Also 10 points for who can tell me or supply a link to read about how the little shits get in there? Are there dormant eggs in the coco allready? That would be my guess but I'm struggling to get any info on web!?

Usually most houses have a colony of springtails living somewhere within damp areas.

They are detrivorous feeders feeding on decaying matter but I have seen when populations get out of control they can have negative effects on YOUNG plants.

Also it can depend on the storage methods of the place you purchased your coco from.

Im sure he meant h202 in the res but didnt know if h203 - trioxidane was suitable as well.
not sure tbh lol.

I’m only going by what I’ve found works.

I tried H2o2 a few times and didn’t see much happening even when spraying it neat on some of the fuckers.

one thing I can say for sure though.

If your environment is dialed in it makes it harder for them to stay around for some reason.

no science to back it just what ive seen over the years.

keeping my RH and temp within the recommended ranges seems to slow reproduction of them as the plants aren’t fighting environmental issues so can concentrate on anything that could be attacking them.

Since switching to led and the weather has dropped my temps have been low at like 20 degrees
