Anyone running this light in a 4x4? (Photobio MX 680)

Hey all - think I'm going to upgrade my SF4000 in the 4x4 when this run of Yaaass Betch finishes up. I have two SE5000's in the 4x8 - great for the price.
Should I just get a third for the 4x4 or go with something bigger for more yield? Local shop carries this
680W LED Grow Light System | Phantom Photobio MX (phantombio.com)
Seems like it will be a tight fit, but I see people fitting even bigger (Se7000) in a 4x4.
Anyone using it? Worth the price increase from a SE5000?

I use that light in a 5x5. It’s not a bar light so I hang it a little higher. Usually about 24 inches above. It’s a good light with really good coverage in the 5x5. I can’t comment on the lights you are using, and my yields are great with the photobio, but I notice the spectrum isn’t as bright white as it is with my luxx in another tent.

I see that it's 50 pounds - do you think that's too heavy for a grow tent? Mars Hydro 4x4 - rated for 130 lbs or so, but .. you know

What made you go with that over say HLG?
Black Friday sale last year. I think I only paid $650 for it delivered. I would love to run hlg, but I’m not going to pay over $1000 for a light. The 645 luxx I picked up on offer up for $400

You would have rather a HLG Blackbird or something than the Photobio? I only want to buy once, - I like the spread more on the Photobio - but there are no reviews anywhere - and the price now is like 800 bucks + tax.

Honestly for a 4x4 I would probably just grab one of the medic grow bar lights. I just don’t think that an hlg will grow better than any other fixture using good diodes. The hlg will probably last longer, but I expect Samsung to make better diodes by the time any of these lights go bad

I’m a little bit of a cheap ass too. If the money isn’t a problem get the hlg. I wouldn’t buy the photobio again even though it is a good light, I just like how the single bar lights can be closer to the plants. One thing to consider also is that these fixtures in a 4x4 will not need to be ran at full power

Just talked to HLG sales - they are releasing a bar style light in a month or so
44x42" - about 680-700w , coming in around 26#
Remote driver built in, probably $899 price tag

The Luxx 645 Pro has better output, efficiency and features. You can't dim those Photobio lights without buying a lighting controller too, huge downside many people learn after receiving it.
