Anyone Recognize this???

Hey guys and gals,

I flushed a week ago almost, and they started to look good. Before I decided to add nutes back and start a slow regimen, the leaves on the middle back one started turning yellow on the edges. The one to the left of the middle back one has that alligator skin look with some twisting leaves on top and some on the middle. The roots of the two just described have a lil' more nute build up on them than the others. I find this funny because they were all washed off with clean water using the stream function on a spray bottle. Right now they are in 13 gallons of water with a capful of Superthrive and Pure blend Pro (Grow) about 237ppm's to start back slow. They are under CFL's as you can see and any information would be greatly appreciated.

Oddly enough, I've seen that before. But on tomato plants, and pepper plants.
From what I can see on the pictures it looks like the leaves themselves got burnt with something and look like they are deficient in some nutrients.

Wait a week, see what happens. I've had many weird things happen to all of the various types of plants I grow. Sometimes small changes upset the plant, and they change and act weird for a while.

Twisting is a sign of giving the plant too much nutes, just feed with regular water + molasses next couple waterings and allow some for some runoff to try and get your plant back to order.

yeah that's right. Nute burn. mostly nitrogen. the superthrive shall rescue it soon. follow directions on the superthrive; 1/4 tsp for 1 gallon of water to bring a plant out of stress.
twisting leaves like a ram horn is the effects of the nitrogen being too hot.

Thanks guys I guess you just have to be very careful with the DWC even if u think u got a good run going. Should I flush as soon as possible...I would think so and if so for how many days do you guys reckon.

On that Super Thrive I think I just used a capful...don't know if that is enough so we'll see...unless I should be flushing as I type.

whats ur ph like?
make sure thats right before making a diagnosis

yeah check ph. it should be at or below 7.0; 6.7, 6.8, but above 6.5. flush your plants like you said, if you are in 1 gallon container flush with 3 gallons corrected ph water. then add your superthrive as directed for stress and i believe that is 1/4 tsp for every gallon.

isnt hydro ph between 5.8 and 6.5? lower ph for hydro?

Right DWC, I'm flushing right now with straight water just started maybe 5min. ago. Should I flush with molasses or wait after the pure water flushing then just use water and molasses?

The PH was fine to a degree, because I was not monitoring it like I should have been, the ph went up a lil to about 6.7, which is a lil high during veg. from what I hear. It might have locked some stuff out. The roots looked fine as well just typical staining nothing too drastic, I may have to get some pics in there.

if its final flush i would go ahead with the molasses

Nah they are still in Veg. didn't want to go into flowering with problems, so does it look like excess nutes or deficient nutes. Too many or not enough? I've been hearing different things from too many people. What's it look like to you?

then use straight water
first couple pics look like heat issues....see how the fold upwards and twist
the other ones look like too much nutes....tips and edges r burnt
