Anyone know what bug this is?

I took this pic on last years grow and forgot to ask you guys what bug you think this is? I didn't find many of them and luckily they must of started way too late to do any damage. But I wanna know so if I do encounter these bastards, ill be ready for them this year! It looks like some kind of worm to me but not sure what species it is.

Certainly an ugly one.

Maybe some kind of beetle or caterpillar? Its hard to tell from the pics but it kinda looks like the belly of a sow bug too.
