There isn't one. I was planning on starting an indoor commercial herb growing operation and after much due diligence, realized there were no off the shelf commercial Aeroponic systems available, at least not ones that seemed worth the money. The only products out there are really aimed at the hobby market and are not built to be of much use in a commercial setting.Im looking to buy a professional Grade Aeroponics system as i hear its the most efficiant type of hydroponic growing there is; although i would make my own if i didnt work full time can anyone help me out here?
any pictures or updates on this system? i'm very interested. I'm a noob, but have been reading over the forums for a few weeks now and am starting to learn the basics. This is probably a dumb question, but what exactly is the difference between aeroponics and hydroponics? ARe the roots just suspended in the air in aeroponics while they're rest in water in hydroponics? Kind of confused! There isn't one. There are some Companies such as Aerofarms that make systems, but they are far too expensive and not even worth it.
So.. since there seemed to be no Companies making true commercial Aeroponic equipment, I decided to use the money I had saved to start my growing operation and have put it towards developing an affordable commercial Aeroponic system.
We are still in the early stages of prototyping and R&D. We are at least 6-8 months away from releasing anything yet. The system we are building will provide 64 square feet of growing space in a 40 s/f space.
Yes the roots are pretty much suspended in air. I'll probably start a thread on it once everything is together. Right now there is still some tooling going on and design changes. The system I'm developing though really is for large operations of say 3,000 s/f or more. I don't think the system would be economical for someone wanting just one unit. It's designed to be modular, connected to a manifold system and drain to waste.any pictures or updates on this system? i'm very interested.
