Anyone here run a genuine aeroponic system?

Just curious if there's anyone else with masochist tenancies out there also. I'd be interested in your components and other sundry equipment. I've noticed there are a bunch of newer consumer level products out there that could be made use of for true aero.

Some sort of pre-built? Do you recall what it was called? I've yet to see a genuine aeroponic pre-built system.
Botanicare Turbogarden use to have both flood and drain and true aeroponic versions. I had 3 f&d versions long ago. Good equipment but spendy. Looks like they still make them.

I miss the days where aeroponics was a trend and if I could grow legal I'd be all over it. Aeroponics and hydroponics is why I signed up for this forum 11 years ago. Since then I found that flooding a tray, pipe, or bucket with a nutrient solution works just as well. Former member @skunkd0c showed it so clearly as well. Especially if you can keep the nutrient solution cool (I sold my electricity-hungry chiller and that was the end of it). Fine mists and sprayers don't add anything. It's fun and cool and all but unnecessary. If you're on the moon and have a very limited amount of water it's totally the way to go.

Nobody using fogponics.its allsoo great for clones.
Bucket with a ultrasonic vibrator and a fan to blow the mist in to the plant buckets

I'm going to literally do my first time grow of any plant with aeroponics. It makes sense. It appears to be a hobby maintaining the system so I'm in.

My above statement should show how stupid I am. Once I get it all set up and tested. I'll update ya.

I found aero did not penetrate the root mass once it really exploded, it was like a thick ball, spraying instead of misting made the roots grow long and trail out, true aero is problematic and best in theory. Spraying with no medium works well

I did high pressure, built my own system. It was cool to look at but that’s about it lol. After that I went to low pressure inside of 4” pvc which was more of a dwc with sprayers constantly recirculating the water once the roots filled in. After that it was dtw in coco and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since, never looked back..

I'm having a blast with Stinkbud's aero/nft rail systems. With the right products it is virtually maintenance-free and produces super fast growth and fantastic bud. I'm not in a legal state, so I just burn all the dried plant matter. No media to toss, no evidence. Harvesting about 14 ounces every 3 weeks.

Easy to clean system, the root mass just slides out like a wet carpet.

Aero cloner.

Aero veg unit, too. The only thing not aero are my moms, that's an F&D tray

Super easy rez changes, hose attaches to both purge and fill the rezes.

God damnit, now I'm intrigued!

I don't know who stinkbud is. Is this a product or a design? Is there a place around here or the world wide web I can read more about it?

I was hoping for a pound every 3 weeks, but I don't think I can get there without CO2 which I'm not going to do.

His thread has been stickied at the top of this hydroponics forum for years. His ebook with plans are sold on Amazon for $5 - https://www.rollitup.org/t/harvest-a-pound-every-three-weeks.116859/

Ok a little miss leading "14 oz in 3 week"
After looking at the link i see its 9 weeks in flower and 3 seperate grows and not counting veg time .
It sounded like you ment you get 14 oz in 3 weeks from one grow hence my comment "this must be a typo "
Makes more sense now :D .

Not 3 separate grows, one perpetual grow containing 3 flowering systems. What I stated is accurate, I harvest 14 ozs every 3 weeks. It is a perpetual grow with 3 flowering systems under 2 1000w HPS lamps (plus a veg tent in the same room for moms, clones, and vegging plants), so it takes some time to get there -

1. I take clones from the moms and put them in the cloner
2. 3 weeks later the clones go in the veg unit
3. 3 weeks later those vegged plants go into one of the flowering systems.

Each system is flowered for 9 weeks, and each system is 3 weeks apart from each other. 9 weeks divided by 3 systems is 3 weeks. Thus, I harvest a 9 week old system every 3 weeks for 14 ozs of weed. Rinse and repeat. I hope this makes sense to you. It is similar to any perpetual grow.

So still flowered for 9 weeks ,it kinda sounded at first it was only flowered for 3 weeks but i understand now, 3 lots 3 weeks apart from each other and harvesting a 9 week grow every 3 weeks ?
