So, I've tried a lot of different psychedellics over the years, but never got a chance to try peyote. Always loved seeing them in the shops in Amsterdam, but didn't have the ability to process em in the Army, so always passed on em.
Been kicking around the idea of growing some from seed along with my other succulents as they're beautiful little plants especially when they flower. Now I know they'll take several years before I have anything I can enjoy, so I suppose my initial question is whether or not the experience is worth the wait? I've looked and looked and I just can't find a source for 2-3 year old cacti, so this is why I'm considering the seed route. If anyone could take a look on the Silkroad and report back on availability, I'd appreciate that as I'm no computer guy and would rather not go through all of that unless it'd save me a few years waiting...
Second, once they ARE old enough, what is the process from going cactus->trip? Is it something I can process and cook down without a bunch of chemicals and a flowhood and such?
Lastly, if the seed route is taken, are they all very similar or is one variety preferred over another?
Thanks for any help on the matter!
