Yeah at 4 square feet this light will likely need to be dimmed but who knows. Never really know what your going to get with chinese shit.

Gavita specs say use 40.3w Sq/ft of the Samsung/Osram Diodes.
My 1700e is 645w, and 1700umol, and is made to run in a 4 x 4 area. 645 divided by 16 is 40.3w Sq/Ft.

Do you not trust that Kingbrite is using authentic Samsung LM301B's in the light the OP linked?

On Kingbright USA they dont mention anything about Samsung/Osram Diodes. I believe very little about what China says. To much bad info from them.
