anyone have one of those build-it-yourself ballasts?

just looking around at lighting equipment, saw a 1000 w h.p.s. for really cheap, does anyone know if those work well once wired correctly? any response would be great.

yeah, 1000w hps are the best growing lights that i know of, just use a lot of electricity.

Don't try and build one. If you buy anything make sure its your ballast. Don't skip on your ballast.

Not really sure which one you saw! Just what are you asking about? Cheap light sets in general, or the "Wire-your-own" ballast kits? A link would be nice!
