Anyone have issues with Green House Seeds?

I bought 6 white rhino seeds and got 4 freebies from herbies. Five of the six WR seeds never popped the surface. All other seeds from different breeders sprouted quickly with the same everything as the 5 that didn't. I'm just curious if anyone else has had issues with GH seeds before? Not trying to bash, just trying to decide if its worth ever trying them again. :blsmoke:

I'm curious as to what exactly your issue here is. 5/6 germinated quicky, and the other one is probably just lagging behind. What's the problem?

No, only one of 6 popped the surface after full germination. The rest sat in the solo cups for 7 days and did nothing. However, my freebies from TH Seeds and Seedsman all popped the surface. Same germination technique, same medium and same environmental factors. My problem is all of my seeds but one from GH never even broke the soil while all the rest are thriving just fine.

I'd change your germination method to ensure better rates. Putting seeds in the dirt is inconsistent (depth/weight of soil on seed) and some varieties have been bred not really for vigor, but for other things. These varieties will struggle more to break through the dirt. Most breeders use rapid rooters or whatever to start seeds so this part of the selection process is ignored completely. My guess is they would have been fine using a different method and it's also still too early to make any judgement about whether they will germinate or not. I had one seed take a couple weeks once.

Greenhouse doesn't have a very good reputation on here from what I've seen. I've grown some of their gear. I am waiting on a pack of Exodus Cheese right now though.
I hope for the best obviously. Try germinating your seeds in root riot cubes. A bad of 100 is like 25 bucks. Thats twenty five cents apiece. They work great. Stupid-proof,
that's why I get em. lol.

Can't say whether GHS is good, bad or something else, but the single Super Lemon Haze I planted this spring sprouted and is now a 7'6" monster covered in big nugs. So my experience with GHS, so far, is positive.

I've seen more than a few great cuts of SLH and every journal I've ever seen has been great too. Doesn't make anything else they do great though. I've also seen some bomb ass Lemon Skunk journals and smoked some as well.

I think I just had crappy luck. I had 95% success rate with the paper towel method and then just plant 3/16" deep. Oh well! Thanks for your input guys!:blsmoke:

Yeah, I tried to pop 5 Black Widows and only one germed and the survivor was a POS. Slow grower shitty taste and high, if you want to call it that. I did GHS Super Lemon Haze and it was more than decent with no issues except one hermie.

I did the white rhino it was huge. bud came out meh but pretty good sized yeild about 3oz off one plan trimmed for days and days i wouldnt do it again.
