This would be a non-DE fixture with a decent bulb. CO 2 with good temps and humidity. Using a bigger yielder. I know they are a lot of variable.
Anyone have a ballpark on above average yield on 4 plants under one 1000 watt HPS?

1 pound per light with 4 plants = total 1 pound?
Or 1 pound per plant (4) under one light = 4 pounds?

2-2.5 would be above average I think a pound total is a good starting point. 1g per watt would be excellent but you'd never hit 4 pounds per light with hps

if you're running a dialed in hydro with sups and co2 3+lbs per light is easily possible with sufficient veg. we try to veg ours so that after the stretch, they fill the footprint of a single 1kw. our last grow was a little low, didn't veg long enough and got 2+lbs from one plant and almost 3lbs on the other. we are def gonna beat that this time as the big ass sativa is looking to be more than 3lbs by itself.

For 99 percent of growers this is far from easily achievable....

From what I've been told by multiple customers a middle of the road grower should expect .5-.7 gpw. Of course this is a very loaded question. Strain dictates alot as well. Also method used and environment are key. Also it depends on space. If you cram the 1k in a 4x4 it's going to yield less than it would in a 5X5.
