Anyone grown DNA Lemon Skunk

Yo whats up, Im at day 21 in flowering with my lemon skunk which is supposed to be a 8-9 week strain but I am scared that this phenotype I got is not that because the leaves are so sativa ish and its streching like all hell. Here are some pics lemme know what you think.

youll notice the clones will take off get an inch of growth under a day ! under a 1k mh bulb veg its crazy fast grower, i might be very impressed i might have 4 outher this may be my favorite strain youll be happy

Seems like it stretches a ton! Does it finish in 8 weeks or what?

I have grown both DNA's strain and GHS's strain, The DNA finished in about 10 weeks. The GHS strain has phenotypes that finish in under 8 weeks, coated in crystals, potent, and very lemony and aromatic. I enjoyed both very much but the GHS strain had about double the crystals and smelt up the whole room, even the expelled smoke smelled like a hint of lemons. Once past the stretch you should be able to tell which phenotype you have by the development speed. regards,

No pics but I grew it 6 times. The leaves were just barely wider than yours but shaped like a typical sativa dominant. Very frosty, orangeish spear shaped buds. It was always ready in 56 days. The high surprised me...better than I expected, so I kept it around for awhile.

Fasho thats what I'm lookin for. I cant wait for these babies to start chunking up. First time doing hydro also so I was scared I wouldn't get the yield I was looking for but even since my first post I can tell they have stopped stretching and really started to bud hard. The smell isn't there though which worries me also.

I'm just now seeing this thread. Coincidentally, I know 'this guy' who has 2 DNA LS on exactly the same day of 12/12 as yours, and look very similar to yours as well. Though never grown before, they look just fine - the stretch was expected and supercropping kept things easily manageable, according to 'this guy'. He also reports that both are much more vigorous, and at this point look like they'll easily out produce the Dinafem Moby Dick and Emerald Triangle Lost Coast OG in the same 'imaginary' grow. None, however, have exploded the way a couple of TGA Timewrecks did last 'fantasized' grow.

Now, 'this guy' doesn't take or allow pics as he's in an intolerant area....so please consider all this unsubstantiated ramblings of a bullsh*tt*r. I would remind you, though, that skunk is a sativa/indica cross, so thin leaves are of little worry.

I am pretty excited now that more people have said it should be fine because there seems to be very little amount of journals on DNA LS. I will have to post some pics next week I'm Kinda sad I didn't start a journal for this though cause it has been a journey lemme tell you!

I know mine is only really starting it's vegging outside but the leaves on mine don't look anywhere near as sativa-ish as yours does... Time will tell I guess...

HAHA im growing this shit right now and I am at 9 weeks and the damn hairs are JUST NOW starting to turn brown its looking like its gonna take atleast 11 weeks and yeah she stretched like a bitch. BUT the buds are HUGE so its worth it for sure and its super dank. By the way I have a clone of the lemon skunk thats around the same age as yours and your looking right on par. Mine didnt start packing on weight until about 8 weeks really I dont know where they get off telling people 8-9 weeks

my lemon skunk freebie was reasonably compact, but i flipped it early. i don't much care for skunk #1 as it's too stony for my tastes with no psychoactivity other than euphoria, so the lemon skunk, with it's more motivational buzz as well as lemongrass flavor and that cool "golden glow" from it's orange pistils surprised me. i really liked it, probably because it's more sativa dominant as you're finding with your stretcher. i want to get is again for breeding with hopefully a lemon pheno malawi gold male and get something tripper and/or better tasting than haze x skunk.

please do share your experience and a smoke report when they finish.

as to greenhouse super lemon haze, i keep seeing positive reports for it along with a lot of GHS hate for other strains at least, so i placed an attitude order when they were giving it away just to test it myself. i wasn't impressed. it took 3-4 leafets to stop mutating, settle down, and start flowering where other strains that had a similar generic haze buzz were already budding. john sinclair's sativa trans-love in particular is a budding monster in comparison with a similar taste & buzz.

i think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the lemon skunk. it's the ONLY skunk i can approve of. well, DNA's sour cream isn't a skunk #1, but it smokes like one, but with a crazy delicious cream cheese with hints of fruit flavor that's out of this world. the flavor is adequate compensation for a stonier buzz, but lemon skunk has a much nicer buzz for sure.

Ah I'm a little pissed kinda cause I have 3 aurora indica in there with all the lemon skunks and I can tell that the AI is about to finish right on christmas day no joke will be 55 days. The lemon skunk looks like its got 6 weeks to go which sucks cause I really wanted it to be done on christmas but its probably gonna weigh a ton and hopefully with those AI out of my ebb and grow I can space the plants out a little better. Hoping to get 2 Lbs off of all twelve plants. First time doing hydro but I went all out and have been doing pretty good so far I believe. I'm wondering when I should start using Overdrive By AN if the AI is a 55 day strain and the LS is longer. I was thinking week 7?

Good shit man I checked it out and mine seems to be the same one. Its just weird cause the buds like arent making like a single huge cola its just gonna be a bunch of golf ball sized buds on the main cola is what it seems like.

I like the thread man. Tht dna lemon skunk is fire for sure. Mine scretched out on me to but i just did a wee bit of lst and got it under control. Only problem i had was it grew all funky looking though. It had claw like leaves thru the entire grow but it was healthy like the other girls in the tent. Dont remember how long it took to finish but lookat my profile to see some pics of it.
