Anyone Grown Big Bomb or Cheese

You say you can touch your tube without burning your hand? I haven't got my tube fully rigged yet, nothings really finished being set up in my room, but working on it. Anyways I run a fan over the plants and it also pushes just enough air through the tube to keep the wires on the mogul from melting(they actually melted a bit from the heat when I moved the fan for a few minutes lol).

So how many CFM do you pull through your tube and how big are your lights? I'll check out your thread in a minute just thought it would be easier to ask. I intend to have 3000 watts burning in cooltubes, with 1 fan to cool them, How many CFM do you expect I will need to pull through the tubes to do that? I have a 4 inch fan that moves 175 cfm, I am thinking its not going to be enough? I will also be cooling the room down with an 8 inch fan on a carbon filter. Can I even use a 6 inch fan with the MH bulbs?

Its best to take a look at my video and you can see how i installed it and how it works... on my third video next week will go into further detail on my setup for people who want something setup like mine...

its just a basic 6'' can fan i got with my cooltube at my local hydro store, your wires melted?.. which way was the air blowing.. it should be blowing air from the side the bulb connects to its socket in the opposite direction so the hot air doesnt go over your wires but only your bulb.. get me?.. watch my video..

and im running a 400 watt mh on mine, and will swap it over to a 600HPS during flower.

and remember 'EACH COOLTUBE NEEDS ITS OWN FAN'


You want 3 cooltubes?.. you need 3 fans, one for each... and remember.. each bend you do in your ducting slows down the airflow because of 'resistance'.. like car exhausts etc.. the straighter the piping.. the easier the flow.

If.. you went ahead and got 3 tubes with one fan,, after the air passes over one bulb it gets hot,, then moves over to the other bulb and gets hotter.. etc..
your supposed to move cool air through not hot air.. thats the idea of keeping them cool..

and make sure all that heat is being led outside the house...

tell you what.. ill make a video for you tonight ! :) sneak peak ! and go into detail about my setup BUT ONLY IF YOU SAY PLEASE lol.. i did alot of research and reading before i commited to my setup.

no but ive smoked it a few times. let me tell you man if youve never had it you are going to be pleased. very coated with thc, very cheesey taste and smell to it. very dank.

people seem happy with the cheese strain im happy i got it now thc bomb is next on my list it looks puple and yields shit loads and thc content is amazing ill keep my big bomb and cheese going for a few grows tho clone the crap out of em

black thats crazy? that would mess with my head. like if I were growing under LED's I would never know if my plant was healthy or not

I wouldnt mind growing out a purple strain sometime just because they look sooo fucking coooool

Do you know if the purple genetics come from an indica or a sativa lineage? shit I think I already know its indica(cold climate genetics)

yeah i would love to grow a puple plant too i agree it looks soooo fucking cooooool haha thc bomb is puple and it flowers for 8-9 weeks i think so it must be mainly indica coz its short flowering time i think anyway haha u should check out berry bomb too at demon seeds thats also realy purple

Ive seen alot of purple leaved plants with green buds, do you know one that actually has super purple buds? is there one strain that is undeniably the most purple?

I just cracked those Kish seeds and I swear I can see purple on the coytledons, But Ive also seen the buds before and they were not purple at all. But it would be interesting to see if Kish is a purple strain.

I just found out my night temps were 82 hahah no purple happening if I keep that up.. gotta adjust that stupid heater

the two ive heard the most about being purple is berry bomb and thc bomb are very puple no matter what u grow like and cold temps as u said give a color but where i live its fucking hot in somer and fucking cold in winter so i cant wait untill winter to see if any color diferences in growing the same strain
