Anyone growing or have experience with Jager?

A friend of mine trade seeds back and forth in another state and he sent me a few beans of a strain called Jager. I've never heard of it. Never seen it at a dispensary or anything. I thought why not see what happens? This is what happened with 8 weeks veg time from seed:

Just tied down today

I have a couple questions for anybody that has experience working with the strain. What's the smoke like? Is it a strain you would keep in the garden or unload? How long did she flower for? I'm hoping it's a stellar strain because she is the most monstrous strain I've ever grown. I planted this the same time as critical mass and girl scout cookies and they're 2' shorter than jager. It looks like she's going to be a very heavy producer judging by the size of the plant and incredible branching.

I didn't even plan to place any plants in my flower room yet, because I still have to line the floor with a 12'x16' tarp tomorrow, but jager was crowding the tent too much and had to come out. I figured I better tie her down or I'm gonna be in some trouble here come flower time. She was about 4" from the light before I tied her down. God I hope she doesn't stretch much after the 12/12 flip.

It's a great outdoor strain. I've heard many people are sick of it in Oregon and Cali because so much of it is grown outdoors. I've only grown crosses of it and it certainly adds mold/mildew resistance to whatever it touches. Smells a little grapey, fruity, with some liquorice. Good not great potency.

This exactly. When living there, I was told it was a special pheno of hindu kush, since, I've been told the HK is one parent, the other unknown. Fun at first, gets a lil old quick. Mine were always hard licorice with light slight grape or purple backend. Heavy indica smoke, but did have that taste. But with the potency, the novelty wears off pretty quick, IMHO

I'm going to give her a whirl this flower cycle and probably take it out of the garden. I prefer sativa dominant strains like Blue Dream or a variation of Haze. They have so much more character and better quality effects. Indica's have their place, but they're so boring. No depth to the high. Just stoned.

I haven't had the real thing but based on what I've read and experienced i believe growing out some crosses of it might be better than the original clone. Jagersnitzel bx3 from Bradley danks does really great outdoors here and I don't get bored from it, at least not yet. I would like to see it breed to a good og kush or even haze to upgrade the potency and cut through that liquorice smell.
