Anyone grow melon gum by Dr underground?

So I've grown one seed out and loved the bud just amazing but I only got 1.5oz so I popped 2 more seeds looking for a better pheno just wondering if anyone else has grown this Gem

Got one about ten days into 12/12 alongside a Somango and Cheese Dom. So far, so good.

Details on finishing time, taste, smell, potency etc would be appreciated.

Mine finished in 8 weeks I grew it along side GSC, blue og, skywalker og, and the melon gum was by far my favorite. That and the skywalker, but it taste amazing really fruity and it smells that way to light green bud with trichs everywhere and gets me rocked. The kind of high that gets you stoned but gives you energy.

Thanks...that's pretty much the description by DU. A single Soma Lavender bean goes for almost $30, but I've read great things about the super mellow stone. Since melon gum is a hybrid and less than half the cost I thought it worth taking a flyer on. I see it's sold out on the 'tude, so someone's buying it.

I also got one of their Brooklyn Mango to pop later on - another hybrid off a Soma strain.

im on my 2nd run with it, 1st run from clone went 12/12 1 week from rooting and got 1.2oz per plant, only took 53 days on 12/12. 2nd run I vegged 3 weeks it grows like crazy so will be interesting to see how it goes, only 13 days into flower now.

Your take on the smoke / potency?

medium-high potency. I find it very sweet fruity tasting, kinda tastes like it smells late flowering. buds are very dense and very smooth smoking although the hash was a little bit harsher then other hash ive made.

its a very low odour strain to grow, no filters needed and its a crazy veger.

just got melon gum and pink kush on monday.

my dr underground melon gum at 10 days old. 16 days ago it was a seed. also have pink kush. pink kush is a little bit smaller.

Mine came down a couple of weeks ago, but I decided not to post pics of any of the 3 plants in the tent [somango, cheese dom]. They had to deal with two extended deep freezes in 12 / 12, and w/ roots in DWC, I was surprised they survived, but they weren't very pretty.

Funny thing, all 3 are smoking terrific after about 20 days. Hitting some melon gum as I type. It's a very nice high, relaxing and a little spacey, but not energy sapping. Fits good for early evening / after dinner smoke. The smell and taste of mine I'd describe as champaign - real nice. I can only imagine how good it could be run during normal temps. Might have to grab another at some point.

Almost a month later than last post ^ , I'm just updating. Finished a third of a joint - today's nooner pic - about an hour ago. This really is some fine smoke, almost exactly as described by dankdope. Mine is from a single se-ed purchased and ran through a cold winter.
