Hello All!

I, too, am embarking on a DP grow. Seed just cracked in germ, and into the soil she goes! Wish us luck! We will continue to update if you do! :blsmoke:

LOL It is looking better tho. You can see what I mean by the genetics tho can't you? I mean it is getting better, not so scraggly, it is filling out pretty good. I will clone the first parts that come in normal so I can have a decent plant to deal with. Not to hurt her feelings or anything, but like I said earlier in the post it's like over breeding a puppy bad hips, no brains etc... LOL

Here are my updated pictures.

What do yall think of the pot size they are in? i think its only around 3 gallons. do you think thats too small?

If I transplant them to a larger pot should I do that now or later on in their growth cycle?

they are about 5 weeks old:

on here the dude says cloning DP is quite tricky....
There are some good thing in this write-up and the author obviously took time to compile it but there are alot of BAD things in there too. His lumen numbers are off. The fert numbers are off. MG is NOT good fert. SOG numbers are questionable... the list goes on. Take anything in this writeup with a grain of salt. ;-)

DP should clone like any other strain .... with water and warmth. Furic acid (root compound) is a plus not a requirement :bigjoint:

Geek I think your plants look great, I wouldn't use bigger pots, not yet anyway. I'm one for starting in small pots and then go bigger as needed so they grow more foliage and not more roots. that's just my opinion tho. The way I am I would end up in a 3 gallon pot. But your plants look great with what your doing so I wouldn't change a thing.

wasn't really paying much attention to it anyway...what methods are you guys using for clones and what seems to work best.... i have never cloned any...got a few cuttings in perlite in a grow box...have used clone gel and there's a good bit of moisture in there...still looks shit...wont pull at them just in case

easy way to do it is this.
20oz cup filled with water. piece of cardboard covering top of cup.
poke hole in cardboard and put the clone in the hole. change water every 5 days ;)

my closet is alil over 6ft long and a lil over 2ft wide so thats good for 10 plants right
yea .. should be, single cola non bushy type would be the best

Yep you should make the plants fit the space. Meaning keep them small not bushy just like 420weedman said. Some people use Bushmaster I have some but it's a very delicate thing. Meaning you can over do it. It stunts the growth instead of topping and bending you spray or water it with it and it stops growing. It's made from Kelp and it's pretty freaking spendy. I personally don't like my plants to touch, no reason really I just don't like to do it. I think in a 6 ft space and 2 ft wide you could fit 10 I would do 6 or 8 depending on your strain and how bushy you like it.You need to keep room for you to get in there. Because if your as lucky as I am it's always the one that's farthest away that needs some sort of attn. I like em bushy with lot's of colas. Oh and by the way I'm way off topic on this one but my blueberry mother today is really looking like shit, memeber yesterday I clipped a clone from her. I guess it is a very persnickity plant, anyway the clone looks great so I guess I'll nurse the mother back and then take another clone from her even tho she doesn't like it. I still want pics of the DP"S:bigjoint: I should also add that when I take an odd leaf off I crunch and smell it and you can smell the citrusy blueberry in it and it does look a lil darker on the leaves through a scope Yummy
