Anyone Fly With Weed Lately?

i used to travel alot for work and in the old days i wouldn't think twice about flying with a half in each pocket but now, ehhhhh i don't know.

thing is i am gonna have to go take care of my mother in va beach for awhile, like maybe 6 weeks or more, and i know no one within 400 miles of her house who smokes.

i could probably get away with cutting back and maybe taking an oz, i have to have it to sleep (you know how it is) if nothing else.

should i take it somehow, not really wanting to do that, or send it to my mom's address LOL oh shit that does make me laugh, i am 45 and she is 65 so it's not like i'm a kid doing it, no offense kids.

would i do best to fedex overnight it to myself there? ups overnight? i have been told that overnight is about the safest way, since obviously they are in a hurry.

what are your thoughts hobson?

yeah my buddy does it all the time.
Here's his method:
He has a plastic container that hold his Q-tips in. He rolls pinners and sticks them in the case with the Q-tips. Works everytime. He's done it at least 10 times.

Shipping is federal and I know that some cities have people in their vice unit where all they do is scan packages all day. Then again I know people that have shipped successfully, but that's sketchy.

if you're going to mail it to your self use USPS and do it with the 2-3 day shipping or quicker. As far as I know police can't search mail from USPS without a warrant if its under a certain weight, in Canada that weight is 500 grams not sure about the USA. Use a vacuum sealer on it so its nice and flat, the sealing will stop any smell from coming out of it. Failing that, use a mason jar but I'm not sure about packages that big. I always buy mail order and they are sent vacuum sealed, sometimes they do it twice.

You can also buy stash coffee cups and stash water bottles. You can't fit too much in there but you should be able to fit a nice halfer. Sometimes these are found though, some basketball player I think was caught with one

That's tough, you're 45. I would assume you have a lot more to lose than someone like myself trying to pull it off (23 years old). I don't have a family and shit, if I go to jail obviously that would be terrible, but it wouldn't ruin anyone else's life in the process. If you got your mom to take care of for 6 weeks and you get popped at the airport trying to "smuggle pot" (that's how they're going to look at it), who's going to take care of your ma for 6 weeks? I'm not trying to dig myself in your business, just trying to help bring a fresh perspective. In my opinion, try to find some people where you're going. Worst case scenario you get a misdemeanor or a citation for trying to pick up pot from a UC. Better than dealing with homeland security at the airport. Good luck with whatever you decide.

This time last year I took a quarter ounce over in my hand luggage. They searched my bags (set off the metal detector because I was wearing bondage pants) but completely overlooked it along with the rest of my smoking stuff. The dogs ignored me too. The same when I got the train to Amsterdam. They actually helped me get all my shit back into my bag quickly because I was going to miss my train X3

I only had to empty the bag because I was carrying camping gas. I seriously think all they care about are hard drugs in large amounts, offensive weapons (though I had knives on me too) and BOMBS.

The top of deodorant sticks and rolled up in sleeping bags is a good place to hide bud. Hash can be hidden in all kinds of places like your wallet in little bits and pieces, loose so it's overlooked as like a spec of old... chocolate or dirt or something? 0_o;

EDIT: I don't think it's worth the risk or the trouble and you getting anxious/paranoid over it. I would never ship ganja- you can't see what's going on, you can't hide it yourself, you will get into trouble for using the legitimate mailing system for smuggling, you won't be there to stop someone opening it... It'd drive me NUTS knowing I had weed in the mail or where I can't see it- it's on my person at all times!!

If it's just a little on you to keep you going, go for it. The quantities you're talking about, you should just set up a connection for when you get there. I know it's hard to make an oz stretch 6 weeks, especially when you need it for sleep- I understand.

Is there any way you can drive instead of flying?
All I see about where you live now is that it says "paradise"....just how far is Va beach from "paradise"?

I live in southern California....that's my "paradise". Va. beach would be quite a drive, but the extra days traveling would be worth not getting busted at the airport, IMO.

I do it all the the time.... They dont care about weed... they're preoccupied looking for bombs/ knives / sissors and shit like that.... rap it up real good and put it inside a pair of socks, put it in your bag and forget about it.... Dont carry anything else that you shouldn't have, which would give then reason to search your bag... You'll be fine... Good luck

I'd just send it through the postal service. That way you don't really have to work about getting it taken.

package it up and ship it to moms address, drop it by the post office the day or day before you fly so you can be there to get it from the mail

If your carrying it on your person the best method would be to swallow it, which carries no risk even if the sniffer dog sniffs you. I knew someone who used to grind up his bud and place it in a metal tube (of the desired thickness ) with 2 coins on the ends. He then put the tube into one of those clams carpenters etc use and squashed the ground up bud to 1/5 of its size. Tie it up in a condom, swallow & shit out... I know he transported a few ounces at a time like this

eeeehhhhhhhh well, thanks for the input. i have already thought alot about it. i can't drive there. i know what i face should i get caught. really i do. i don't think i could eat an oz or stuff it anywhere in, on or around mah body. i just really wanted to know what YOUR experiences were lately, if you had any at all. i don't mean to sound like a jerk, but if i have to spend more than 2 days with my mother without weed it might get kind of nasty. and i can't go and just get a hook up there. people don't take too kindly to a strange middle-aged person asking to buy weed at least i wouldn't if they asked me.

Well, its not exactly done that way but you may if you wish

But trust, if your headed somewhere for 3 weeks and crossing 3 borders then your not going to want the weed in your pocket or hidden in your toiletries. A 1/4 would of got me a year in jail with those laws. I also had to sit down and talk to the police chief about some random passport issue for 30 minutes in his tiny cabin. He looked in my eyes and asked me if I smoked any weed and I said I hadn`t and never saw the stuff =)

Even if I had to pick through my poo, it is my poo right? I would be more worried about the percentage of shit on peoples hands I shake lol
