Anyone on here do this. Ive HEARD that it helps keep your plants from stretching. Dont know though. I run MH through veg and then switch at flower, what do you guys think?

I run a 600hps from seedling to finish. stretching never been an issue for me. Always have nice tight node spacing.

I've read in an Ed Rosenthal review that HPS for vegging and flowering is highly effective. Trial and error I 'spose.

I get smaller node spacing with fluorotubes and CFLS then when vegging under HPS
have used both fluros and envirolites to veg. The results from the hps are far superior. I would not run a power hungry hps, if i got better results from tubes or cfls. Dual spectrum hps is the winner hands down, in my opinion.
