I used this mixed with compost and manure for my outdoor plants, they seem to like it.Don't use it for seedlings, they didn't like it.Indoors I'm trying Dr Earth black soil,it seems to be very good!I was gifted 7 cf bags of pro-mix ultimate organic vegetable and herb mix, anyone ever use this stuff? I'm thinking of doing a run with it for the hell of it but don't want to waste my time if its problematic.View attachment 3750412

I think im gonna give it a go, im just debating if i should run it without extra amendments, maybe a little more perlite and some oyster shell flour...i guess i gotta see how it runs first.
@nmibud good to know! Ill shoot for a 2 week transplant but ill pop a bean on the side just to see how it takes.
I try not to add much during the hotter seasons, but winters right around the corner so yup! Gonna start this week.Abs

Good to know, i cringed when i read feeds up to 3 months lolIt's not bad. For the price though, it's good. Might get four weeks before you need to add nutes.
Buddy of mine converted back to hydro and handed me his soil, we're good friends out here, like family.Whoever gifted you 7 bags is a keeper imho
You laugh i hunt the lil pricks with a crossbow802 used to be like that.......till douchebags from NJ,NYC, MASS moved up here with their selfish rip off the entire community mentalities.
@VTMi'kmaq hey bro, does pro-mix not like high humidity? Haven't watered yet idk why it looks so dark but it's got algae
Move around the top layer of soil to fend off the algae, promos takes along time to dry if nothing is taking the moisture. With what u got might not water for 10 or more days.@VTMi'kmaq hey bro, does pro-mix not like high humidity? Haven't watered yet idk why it looks so dark but it's got algaeView attachment 3757739
