Anyone expierence lowered potency with added co2? Also where to put air pump 4dwc

So I have been thinking about adding co2 to my 10x10 room with a 20lb tank. You can get the whole system for aroung 200 bucks and for 1/4-/1/2 yield&growth speed increase I think itll pay for itl self in no time. But I was just doing a search about co2 and read that some growers have reported decreased potency when using co2 and the article said or recommended to cut co2 off the last 2 weeks of flowering. But on a perpetual cycle that would not work cuz your never be able to have co2 on. So im just wondering has anyone really noticed a decrease in potency? Any opinions on co2 and if its worth the $200?

I also do dwc so if the roots want o2 then I would want to put my air pump outside my room where i can suck in fresh air, right? or would it matter if its pushing 1200ppm co2 to the roots? I dunno seems like you would want the fresh are going to the roots but then your just adding o2 into a co2 filled environment and thus decreasing its co2 ppm right..? But then on hot days you'd just be sucking in 95F air to your rez and thad be no good... Or maybe I just smoked to much new york purple diesel and am over thinking all this...lol

CO2 inhibits ripening. You can get around it by having a separate area for plants in the last two weeks. You could try increasing the ethylene concentration around the plants in the last two weeks by puttin apples around the plants, no idea if it would work well enough. Apples give off a fair amount of ethylene so it should help at least.

Having your pump outside the grow would be better just because it will be running cooler air through the res. The CO2 wouldn't make a difference though.

The correct answers would be to have a seperate room for flower and veg so you can run ur C02 when and where you want . Also keep the pump near the cool air spot or it willraise the temps in your res. Stop overthinking it use ur C02 and experiment with it. Do some research on the internet for plants and C02 you can get ur basics there then ask questions here. Good Luck
