Many moons ago I planted 5 clones up on the mountain. I came back a week later only to see them eaten almost to nothing from slugs. Garden was NEAR gone. Maybe a few leaf stubs on the lower plant. Abandoned the grow. I cam back in Oct. out riding my CR500. A few of the plants did grow. The underbrush over took the plants though. The plants did grow out the top of the brush to grow some nice looking buds. Maybe 3 tops each plant. Anything below the brush line was choked out. They were tall and skinny. Only thing holding them up was the brush around and in them. The spot I cleared for the plants was nothing but weeds and brush when I came back. You could not even really tell I it was cleared.
After really thinking about it. If I was to try this I would try doing it in a ditch. Ditch Weed in Iowa does it some how. You get the right ditch with enough water without flooding it is plausible. Water is the key. A ditch may fit the bill.
Ditch weed states? Do they grow all over or by watering holes and ditches? Not sure for never seen ditch weed...
took a 2+ oz jar of seeds to a local river and tossed them at the shore went back along the shoreline about 2 mo's later nothing grew.. (seeds were old too) but hell I wanted to be Johnny hemp seed..
my very first grow in highscool was 3 or 4 clones and a big bag of soil my buddy gave me...he said go dig some holes...put this dirt in them...put the plants in the dirt...i did as he said and sure i watered them maybe once a week...but other than that I just let them do their thing...at the end I had some bud to smoke...but im sure I could have had way more had I actuall taken care
