Anyone ever see a kannastor bend teeth?

So I bought a kannastor grinder 3 weeks ago, I got a 5 piece 2.5" grinder payed $60 for it which is a fair investment for me. anyways I had it for 3 days and decide to see what it can do. I put 1/8 into it and 2 spins it was cleared and grinded I was impressed....till I looked at the teeth. it actually bent a tooth near flat from that somehow. so I sent in a picture to the company showing the defect to get a return. Been waiting 2 weeks now for a reply and guess what happens in those two week. 2 more bloody teeth bend. Now it's either i just got a defective grinder in which they used a shitty aluminum block to mill it with or kannastor grinders are actually not high quality. either way I'm not happy with Kannastor and don't reccomend these grinders to anyone.

LOL a bent tooth. I guess they make grinders in china now for just a few dollars and sell them for 60. sorry for your loss bro, I'd bitch up a storm to the admin of the site that sold you that b.s. grinder

Never heard of kannastor, but that grinder sounded cheap. The best grinders are mendo mulcher, space case, or a sharpstone.

bent teeth? it's got to be a real piece of shit for the teeth to bend. i've paid 45 for no name 3 stage grinders where the teeth never bent or came close.

with cheap shit you expect stuff like the threading stripping, cheap glue, and crap like that. bent teeth is just fucked. may as well be made out of foil.

when you write your angry email, i do suggest attempting to be polite. actually polite, not passive aggressive polite. it gets you places.

you got scammed bro...

plain and simple. you can find 2.5 inchl grinders with pollen catch for less money in all sorts of places and they won't bend any damn teeth...

somebody who's good with a etcher/engraver just stenciled the brand and etched it.... made the thing out of recycled paperclips in a sweatshop somewhere.....

yea bro, don't shit bricks in your email to the admins about their crappy grinders. Maybe you can tell them you are doing a review for an important cannabis website and be nice, and they should just give you the money back. A crappy replacement of the same crap will not do justice in this matter

I just sent a email saying "I bought your grinder a few weeks ago and some teeth have bent, is there anything you can do for that?" so far no reply. But no it's the actual grinder go to http://kannastor.com/products/view/165 I got a 5 piece like that one I just don't know which size it is because I'm too lazy to measure it. Got it from the local headshop came in a little stuffsack, got the guitar pick and 2 replacement screens just like the site says, dunno why I only paid 60 for the thing though. I've also started to notice alot of the teeth now have what seem to be burrs of aluminum on the top. Once again I do not recommend these shitty grinders to anyone, all they're good for is looking shiny I think now.

As the designer and manufacturer of Kannastor grinders for over 10 years, I stand behind all our grinders and am committed to Kannastor being the best grinder on the planet, bar none. Our grinders have features no other grinder has - replaceable screens(just recently improved to be much easier), jar styles, deep storage, a unique hole pattern to create "fluffy" grounds - and machined with aircraft grade aluminum. Kannastors are warranted against the any damage, even by user error, which this case sounds likely to have been (if you overstuff ANY grinder and force the grind unevenly, it is possible to pressure the teeth against each other which could possibly cause damage). All anyone has to do is to email a photo of the damage and we would send a new replacement grinder. If an email had been sent, we would have replied as such. We get emails everyday! I encourage anyone to take a look at kannastor.com or google Kannastor reviews to find out what other people are saying about Kannastor. Peace.

Great example of customer service. I have never used or seen a Kannastor grinder but I'm intrigued by the features you speak of. Removable screens for one is a great design feature.

I realise that this may sound a little cheeky but I was wondering whether you would like to donate anything to riu? Was thinking we could start a thread with a competitive theme with the winning prize being a Kannastor product of some sort. Would be cheap marketing for you and would undoubtedly raise interest and awareness for your product.

If you are unable too, I understand and appreciate you responding to the OPs initial problem.

"The Original Guitar Pick Tool" lol - cheeky bastards put a guitar pick in and call it the original guitar pick tool.

What you've got here is shitty machinists making a shitty product out of shitty materials. Take it back to the head shop.

Tbf the gentleman/woman from Kannastor was concerned enough to respond to ops issues and seems confident of the product he designs.

I say let's give both the product and poster a chance.

When will I learn to read until the end?

Ok, a reasonable response. But I am curious about something. Your claim that any grinder can be overstuffed and have teeth bend against eachother, for one. I do not accept that answer as true. I have a competitor's grinder and am extremely hard pressed to see how I could accomplish this. Not only is the grinder set up so that tooth collision cannot occur, but the teeth would require an extraordinary (non-human) force to bend them even if they did. And he suggests that there are burrs. In ten years, I have no burrs on my teeth. They cut very clean (and fluffy) and still have no burrs. Are you suggesting that these burrs occurred after leaving your facility?

To the OP, did you email the proper address? Because he's strongly implying that you didn't. Let's post some pics of these burrs and teeth. Cannabis Consumer Court is IN session.

I may need to recuse myself for saying you were shitty machinists. This is unproven. Perhaps I can be counsel for the consumer who may, in fact, be an idiot (we just don't know yet).

Oh, I will concede that my second point might be hasty. But I'll stick to the first one. Anybody who honestly believes they were the first people to use a guitar pick is in need of a serious fucking reality check.

I have a lot of machining experience and know that serious defects can be common, both in design and manufacturing. I promise to be fair, but I would really like to see this resolved. Somebody's gonna learn something. Not sure what.

To the OP, please post some pictures. Try not to use a flash to avoid reflections. Please check your email address for Kannastor and give them a time and date. We're just going to have to take your word (or not) on what you find as we have no way of verifying the info you give us.

To Kannastor, can you post some better photos of your tooth design than I have found online? Have you done a search for the OP's email? Are you sure you have not received it? Also, how did you happen on this post (just curious)?

Of course the possibility that this whole post is a competitor with a grudge cannot be overlooked. The reviews on the product are quite good.

If we hear nothing more from the OP, we will know.

I'm 100% positive nobody included a guitar pick tool before Kannastor in 2003. Any evidence to the contrary is of course welcome.
A pretty good pic of the teeth is at the following link...
http://www.kannastor.com/shop-all-products/solid-black-top-2-5-4-pc-grindersifterjar/
I appreciate your suggestion to have some hi-res close ups of the teeth. That's a good one and we will add more pics soon. Rest assured, you won't find any loose burrs of aluminum in a Kannastor. Of course, to square the hypothetical if you did, you should email us and we'll make it right immediately.

A grinder contest, I love it!!! I'll gladly send out some samples for the good Dr to review. You can email the address info to [email protected].
Thanks for keeping it real Doc.
Thanks, really nice gesture. Unbelievable impressed with you and the way you're dealing with customer service. Direct comms with your critics and customers is commendable as fuck in my eyes. Gives me confidence in the product straight away.

I'll start a thread, see what we can come up with. Sure we can think of something fun that'll bring a bit of interest. Who doesn't love free shit!!
