$200 bucks for nutes for 2 grows?!
I'm clearly in the wrong business.
Start the dispute if you haven't heard from them by end of day. That's some fucking bullshit.
oh yeah, thanks mre, i forgot to bring that point up. i have the fox farm trio bottles and have had them for ages, way more then 2 grows, but i usually only grow about 5 or 6 plants or so max, but that stuff should last you well over 2 grows unless of course you're running a shit ton of plants..

I run Jack's, $200 worth of nutes would probably last me for two lifetimes growing for my wife and I :)
The price of cannabis nutrients and the number of bottles is ridiculous. I know people who use more bottles than you need different mineral salts to mix Hoagland's solution!

A hole drill through the inner the the inner seal was turned so holes didnt line up...then had the liquid lock sticker...each bottle in its own bag taped off put in box with foam

It sounds like old stock. They might do the same to the nutes as they do "cut-out" CDs and records. The literally cut the package to destroy its resale value. I am guessing these guys got a big old batch of nutes that are out of date or not intended for resale. Is there a date of any sort?

The internet is a morass of lies in this industry. This is a small thing, but I recently ordered a quantity of an item fom an Amazon vendor. I ordered very specific brands but ended up getting shipped a much cheaper substitute. After much debate (reminiscent of Verizon's 0.002 cents) they agreed to send me the actual brand I ordered. It's been a month now, I'm assuming they had to actually order the product I ordered from somebody else. Real common to order a name brand and deliver a generic these days. Not much I can do about it. If a vendor ships you the Wrong item, Amazon makes you pay to mail it back. Yet these people are pretty clearly taking generic brands and listing them under top brand names. So if it does not actually come from Amazon, I ain't getting it.

Or they could be commercial samples or donated goods. But I am pretty sure those holes are the original manufacturers trying to prevent resale. You could contact them and ask. They might be interested.

Or not. Seller knows who you are.

Thanks for your business.
Some of the manufactures put holes in the caps due to pressure of the organics. Some products will literally collapse a bottle or explode so this helps keep pressure equalized. We are not the manufacture and don't apply the seals to the containers most products have them but sometimes the seals go in the cap if they are overtightened.

Feel free to call Fox Farm they are a great bunch of people.

I emailed FF this
So I bought a tri pack of your nutrients off ebay through thehydrostore. When I received the bottles there where holes in 2 of the 3 bottle caps. I contacted the seller and they said.

I have a box of organic nutes I use to prop a fan up with. Had 'em for like two years now. Nothing wrong with the bottles at all. No explosions, no implosions.

What sort of organics are best for fan propping? I've been using seabird guano but thinking of a change. Is miraclegro good for holding open doors?

They are either on the level or doubling down on the lie. On my previously mentioned Amazon vendor experience, five minutes after posting the mailman showed up with my replacement (sent priority mail after three weeks). This time it was a different, but still totally unacceptable brand. I don't even know what to think about it. Did they order replacements from another vendor who did the same to them?

My guess is that they are NOT lying to you about the nutes. Just my gut feeling. I used Foxfarm for years. No holes ever.

Thank you for contacting FoxFarm with your inquiry, I’d be glad to help. Their response is absolutely true. The holes are intentionally in the caps so that they can release any pressure that may build mostly during shipping between different altitudes. We are so glad that you are pleased with the products, thank you for being a FoxFarm fan!

It is true. I got some Fox Farms from Amazon and at least two had the holes. The Kangaroots and the Microbe, I believe. It's normal from my understanding.
