Anyone else watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

So the guy who brags about the constitution his leader attempted to overthrow. The guy who told us that the last amendment to the constitution was more than 150 years ago. This guy is telling us he hadn't seen something before.

yeah, why bother replying? Not very smart of me.

Here's a basic rundown of the charges: https://www.usnews.com/news/us/articles/2021-11-02/explainer-what-charges-does-kyle-rittenhouse-face

I can't see him being guilty of the intentional homicides, but the whole "minor in possession playing superhero in the streets" should qualify guilt for the remaining charges.

I actually think his buddy that purchased the rifle for him is going to get a harsher sentence than him. I could be wrong but it almost looks like the DA is showing a lot of stuff that will help sway the jury. But he was in possession of a gun while under age so I doubt they will just let that slide. With a jury you never know what will happen

Two counts with up to six years each, but also released on $2500 bail, so...it doesn't seem like they plan to throw the book at him.

He'll walk.
I don't know about that, but I do think the sentence won't be life destroying by any means. Maybe 1-2 years, out in half?

Regarding the charges that Kyle The Dog Fucker® is most likely to be found guilty of, he faces up to 60 years for reckless homicide, 12.5 years for reckless endangerment, another 12.5 years for reckless endangerment, and 9 months a minor in possession of a dangerous weapon. Over 85 years total, then some low percentage of that since the whole thing was based more on idiocy than someone looking to be a serial killer, plus he wasn't exactly killing school teachers. I'd guess ~25% of the total, out in half.

It will be fun to look back at this post later. I'm sure the speculation will be way off, but I couldn't guess which way.

The fbi drone footage will be the determining factor..

That’s why I made this post. It’s not supposed to be about agree or disagree with what happened just how you think the average citizen will vote in a jury selection. I think it will be amazingly light sentence since he was on the offense and being chased each time he fired. Personally I think it was not a good thing a kid that age in that mess but it happened. The larger fault goes to the buddy who was a straw purchaser for Kyle. I would would rather be Kyle than that guy

This from a guy that thinks we should be able to marry children.
No, you are the one who jumped to pedophilia. Why is it that so called Christian Republicans are so heavily involved in sexual scandals? one of yours even forced a woman to have an abortion after he impregnated one of his employees. What kind of people do that?

Oh, that's just Total Information Awareness brought to us by the "Patriot" Act and all its permutations since 9/11.

They spoke of running plates, facial recognition, and the use of FLIR drones. On one hand it’s good if it holds people accountable for crimes against the community but also terrifying that big brother has such a reach. If it can be used against looters and arsonists how long until it more mainstream and is used to track our coming and goings?
