Just in wait and see mode. I do not give a crap for repub or dem. I think both are wrong for the country. I am just enjoying the battle here. Words mean nothing guys and gals. In the end..WE will either find common ground or lose America. 1 day our talk will become acts if we do not get it together. I do not hate any of you guys I am playing with. Just bored and this occupies some time.
This from the sock puppet who called a left-center biased publication “communist”. I’ll consider it if you can find more than one Guardian citation advocating the collectivization of the means of production. Without it, you’re simply accepting traitriot hyperboles as if true.

Some testimony from today.

The defense team showed Washington several video clips, some filmed by Washington himself. He testified that he had witnessed numerous fires being started in Kenosha on the night of August 24. The streamer said that citizens, some armed and dressed similarly to Rittenhouse, had been putting out fires over the course of the night. This angered several looters and arsonists, according to Washington.

Rosenbaum may have been one of those angered by the teen’s efforts to save local businesses. Washington also said that he had seen videos of Rosenbaum antagonizing armed citizens while yelling “shoot me ***ga!”

Washington also testified that he made a mental note of Rittenhouse because he “seemed young” and was chain-smoking, indicating to him that the teenager was nervous. He noted that Rittenhouse did not appear to be acting in a “malicious” way. The streamer said he didn’t think Rittenhouse “Was going to go around and mow a bunch of people down.”

“This is just I suppose, my opinion, he just seems like he was young and like he didn’t know what was going on,” Washington said. “He seemed nervous in the situation. But I mean, I suppose a lot of people were nervous. It was not a slight at him, just a thing I noticed.”

Rittenhouse lead defense lawyer Mark Richards argued that Joseph Rosenbaum “lit the fuse” that led to the shootings on August 24, 2020 in his opening statement on Monday. Richards said Rosenbaum chased Rittenhouse before lunging at his rifle, therefore posing a danger to Rittenhouse’s life.

Shame they didn’t take out the vigilante before he murdered them
I guess it was just not expecting some kid to start popping off rounds messed with their aim

It all ready did when radical non-patriotic animals attacked our voting rights
I find it odd you are even involved in this country since you obviously hate it
WRONG!! I love my country. Volunteer service. All my children also. Jan 6 is not even in comparison to all the riots that got a pass. Should they have entered..no. should 1 have been shot..no. should the blm and antifa rioters get a pass..no. You can never disparage my Patriotism. I proudly offered my life for it. Some of you wish i had passed while serving. Cool. Didnt. We can go around all day. I will laugh at you..trigger you and sleep like a lamb no matter your responses.

Funny I've never seen any posts from you in our Veterans forum.

Then again, no one hates this type of trifling Vet more than other Veterans. Ya know, the kind that have to use their service to lend validity to the warped views.

Here's a tip. Its not edgy...its cringey and makes you sound incredibly disingenuous.

You wouldn’t have just took it and again this event has zero to do with any other protest
It was a terrorist act

This case is interesting to say the least. Its even more amusing to see the far left and the far right pick an opposite side and scream their opinion from the rooftops.

He was under the legal age to be in possession of a rifle, therefore breaking the law. This fact should not be glossed over. However theres several angles of how everything went down and that makes things a bit trickier. He was in the area to extinguish fires and save businesses and got attacked and chased by several people. got hit with a skateboard and someone tried to take his gun. All that matters, regardless of how much you hate the right or left or want to play your silly little game of red vs blue.

Glad to see the footage and testimony disproving the things the media told us, like Rittenhouse was chasing the dude or that he traveled across state lines with the gun. The prosecution on day one said so many things that basically defend rittenhouse and solidify the defense, i was pretty surprised.

For someone who was "hunting people of color" as some of you have said, he didnt do a very good job. "Went to hunt people of color", ended up shooting 3 whites, killing a serial pedophile. Im sure the kids he diddled are just devastated.

Please give examples of the far left in the USA today.

Also, whom in Congress do you identify as political center?

I think the minor in possession part is what creates the "utter disregard" criteria necessary for the reckless homicides.

Don't see how he could be found guilty of the intentional homicides.

why just the left?
Because I have plenty of examples of the far right.

I believe that the term “far left” is being systematically abused for propaganda purposes. So I am interested in whom you see as being far left, and perhaps “what necessary planks or policies define the far left”.

An example of whom you place at precise political center would also help inform me.

That's the thing that gets me. I'm no Vet. Merely an ex army brat that grew up in the environment for much of my life. Fucking Veterans thread was one of the first places I posted in to thank you guys for the service to your country in which I don't even live. Not going to harsh on any Vets with alternate views. I will say there appears to be a very serious malfunction at the junction with how basic civic responsibility, ethics, and duty to your country and all of the citizens are being misconstrued into a heaping pile of FUBAR MFing dogshit from a few folks I should be looking up to.

It's disappointing to say the least.

Im referring less to specific organizations, people, or policies, and more to a way of actually thinking/acting Theres lot of same-think on both sides, some things being more radical.

When nuanced debate goes out the window and things HAVE to be one way or the other, someone so vehemently defends their "side" that they disregard or dismiss facts or logic, sometimes even to the point they wish or commit violence or even death to others, youre officially on the far side imo. People so radical they decided to disrespect and storm the capital with handcuffs in their pockets and cheered on chaos on Jan 6th = far right, People so radical they decided to disrespect and burn their communities, beat, rob and shoot folks during the BLM riots = far left.

You mean so radical that they strip women of basic human rights?

Not really my view, but I think the people on the left (tbh...they are centrists imho) are viewing jan 6th as way more than a riot. They were trying to topple the government and are viewed as traitors by many. The blm riots were just sort of different, not sure how to explain it.

Blm riots were closer to people going apeshit after their team won the big game riots than storming the capital.

Personally I am not opposed to the idea of storming the capital and dragging a lot of people into the streets. I am really opposed to why those stupid fuckers actually did it though.
