Anyone Else Sketched About Strains?

I have grown NL and Master Kush from Nirvana. Five plants for each strain; every single one looked totally foreign to each other. I then pay the extra coin for some Serious seeds, AK47 and White Russian. Again five plants for each strain, and again all looked totally different. So I was sitting there clearing my bong and my little light bulb started flickering above my head. Im starting to think I should just grow bag seed. My first grow was some bag seed and to be honest it looked better and smoked better than any paid strain I had grown (yes I know.....no way on a first grow, but I took note of what noobs usually fuck up and kept it simple). There's a piece of me that thinks these "Breeders" just throw some random seeds in a packet, stamp it with their logo, and sell it for a HUGE profit. I'm just thinking aloud and curious what you guys think.

I think it's probably phenotypes. Not normal for every single seed boguth to be a different phenotype to the next but it could happen. There are probably some seedbanks which do just send out nonsense claiming it's the white widow you paid for etc. I'#m not 100% sure but i think that nirvana has 3rd party growers produce the beans for them, so there isn't an easy quality guarantee.

Just remember the bagseed you decided to use next time, well it's just any one of these strains you're not convinced by, theonly difference being you have no idea what it might be other than what the dealer sais and you get some weed for your money as well.

There's a lot of money flowing with the ganja seeds bus and I'm sure there are some dist & so called breeders who are unscupulous....I do believe the market place does weed these out in time but there are plenty of those waiting to take their place....I personally stay with certain strains mostly and can report that I also see different phenos from plant to plant most of the time...but I still don't buy into any conspiracy theories....
I just grew 3 of the same strain side by side...with 3 different phenos but the smoke from all three was exactly the same.....I propagate seeds from my favs and even those will show differences....so different phenos don't really get my attention very much.....if it does, I stick a match to it to calm my fears....

It's funny you bring up TGA. This is the only guy that I have followed who has actually shown how he gets the strains that he has. TGA doesn't have any "hybrids" of AK mixed with White Widow type deals. I truley believe this fella grew some random bagseed and found some killer smoke, and is sharing it with people. I remember reading a thread where he was being BASHED for claiming his new strain was a Kush mix; I mean the guy said he could taste the Kush in it, who is anyone to say it isn't ya know.

For sure man, thats capitalism for you. I always go with the store brand stuff.

What do you mean he doesn't have any hybrids? He get's his strain by crossing two + together like everyone else, hence names like [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]

I was wrong than. I thought all of his strains were originally his. Maybe I need to pay attention to shit like that. Are all of his strains like that? Like vortex or space queen? Is his querkle a mix of purple erkle?
