it's actually all there if you care to do the reading. "swtor" the game, is set 3600 years before the movies.....and it's still the same.
anyone else sick of hollywood not being able to have an original idea?

the last jedi...well it was good and bad...hell luke gave away the ending in the beginning....so many loose ends though......really choopy in my mind

the story in swtor is actually better than the last few movies.
the emperor plans to wipe out all life in our galaxy, to become a "god" and you have to form an alliance between the sith and the republic to stop him. then you find out he's been building another empire on the rim of our galaxy, that you have to conquer with your alliance. and of course, once you defeat them, the republic and the empire turn on each other again....i think it would make better movies than they have been making

have you seen the animations they make for that game.......they are nice......i mean i know the CGI stuff, but it actually better than the movies they're making now......good story line to fill you in for the game

yeah, mmos since they've existed, 5 years of EQ, 5 years of WoW, jumped around for a while, tried CoH-V, elder scolls online, lotro, ffxiv,
played swtor when it started, quit for a couple of years to go back to WoW, now back to swtor...
console games are ok, but i like to be able to talk to people, and like to find other people who are actually good at the game...harder to do than you'd think. it's not rocket science, but it is a bit more complicated than checkers

yeah i'm little limited on online gamming right now, used to play WoW and a few others back in the day.....it was my ck out from reality for a time......

Aw it happened before Disney. I mean the third movie, technically Episode 6? Had Vader somehow NOT met the cliche and been the father, it would have been much cooler. But when Lucas decided that, the chance of these movies having any sophisticated content at all simply went away.

i think the prequels were Lucas trying to be "sophisticated"...he told kids stories, and they were great, when he stepped into the adult realm, it all went to shit. no one wants to hear the logistics of how many troops and equipment it takes to invade a planet, just send in the troopers and the robots and let them fight it out. and politics in space are just as fucking boring as politics on cnn...anyone who tries to make them exciting is doomed to failure....would you pay to watch senators debate shit they don't even entirely understand?

The year is 0. Jesus Christ is hanging minutes from death on the cross. A little boy runs over, prays some speaking in tongues shit and collects a vial of his blood. Flash forward to present day and the blood has been passed down in secret through the ages. Until finally it makes it's way to an evil bio lab where scientists are working feverishly to clone Jesus and bring him back from the land of the dead to start an apocalypse on the infidels. I call it Jesus 2.0: The Last of the Prophets. Pretty awesome idea huh?

You need some reason to piss Jesus off, else he won't start the infidel war. Say that while he is on the cross and before the kid gets the blood, Mary whispers to him out of guilt and confesses giving Simon Peter a hummer last night. Now Jesus is nailed to cross, can't do shit and is pissed. The kid gets this enraged blood.
