I just got back from a long rip on my bike and have realized that riding "cleanses" the soul. I have never felt more relaxed and at " one" with myself than after a good long ride. Anyone else ride for fun? Post what you ride, why and where is up to you. I ride a 2005 Yamaha r6 raven (black bike ) It's a lotta fun to ride. I look forward to seeing yer rides. Peace all.

West coast here. I ride a lot of the local canyons. Palomar Mountain, Montezuma's Grade in Borrego and just about anywhere along the coast line.

Pic is my daughter and I on Palomar last year. Went up to have breakfast at Mother's.

Are you talking palomar observatory out there off the 15? I used to ride out there all the freaking time....fallbrook, temecula, hemet.

I also had a 2001 CBR 1100XX Super Black Bird

Yep, that is the Palomar Boneman! It is a great ride, though a bit hard on the tires. I have burned a tire in a single day up there with my buddies.

I love riding down here as it is a year round thing. There is always some place to explore.

This is my bike, been riding for over 20 years. Haven't ridin once this year yet.
That's a nice shadow. This is my first year riding, and can't wait to make a trip to the mountains. It's a 3 hour trip to get there and would be a little rough on a sport bike. But well worth it. I ride mainly in central alberta canada.
