Nothing like sitting at work 20 miles away, downpour. Only to check the radar and got absolutely nothing where I need it..guess I will be carrying water when I get home.
I sat in my office yesterday and watched it rain for an hour. Called my wife, and none at the house. On Tuesday I drove through three different huge thunderstorms, all within 5 miles of the farm. I got less than a tenth at the patches that needed it the most. But today is another day.

Dog Days is our rainy season here. When it drys up toward the end of the month, it can get really bad. Our hottest, most sunshiny time of the year is late August and early September. {who the hell knew sunshiny was a word? I thought I was making it up, but spell check was cool with it}

We just got lucky and got 1 1/4 " over a couple days. I was thankful for that, couple more days I'd a been lugging water again.

Rain, that's not gonna happen here I hope. Central Valley Ca rains couple times a year in the winter and when it does you sure don't want your girls getting any of that brown sludge not organic at all.
