If you have a question that needs answering then be logical about who to accept advice from.
For instance if you post a question about deficiencies and get 20 responses from people all saying the same thing and 5 responses from people that say completely different things then who are you gonna believe?
I personally believe that if you have a deficiency (not saying you do) then it is caused by one of three things 1)not enough food 2)too much food. 3) or a ph problem.
The cause of action for all of these is the same.
FLUSH with Ph adjusted flush solution or 1/16 strength nutes and then resume feeding schedule.
So you see Noxnoctum when you ask for advice or get conflicting information remember this one piece of advice i gave you most problems are cured with a good flush and then the resuming of your feeding schedule.

This is on the assumption that people have taken advice not to use MG TR ( miracle grow Time release)What if you are using MG TR? Do you still flush to get rid of excess nutes?
so true...I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand. ~ Confucius
Flushing pre charged nutrient soils only increases the amount of fertilizer in the soil as the slow release ferts are leached through the soil with the water. Transplanting into nutrient free soils is the solution for over fertilized plants stunted by MG. Then start a complete fertilizer program according to your manufacturers directions. What if you are using MG TR? Do you still flush to get rid of excess nutes?
True that. I just read a thread this guy posted. Said he just transplanted into FFOF soil and then developed a Nitrogen deficiency. I'm pretty sure OF is loaded with nitrogen, so that shouldn't be the case right? What he decided to do was water with cal-mag and liquid karma. That's going to throw off whatever it is even more right?Flushing pre charged nutrient soils only increases the amount of fertilizer in the soil as the slow release ferts are leached through the soil with the water. In most cases flushing and starting over is the best course of action unless you are using pre-fertilized soils. For some reason everyone wants to pour some more chemicals into pots to fix a problem they don't even know what the cause is.
He knows this already bro.
