anyone can figure this out

I added a lil nutes some silica turned off the fan pointed at it and then I turned off the lights directly above the plant I'm ganna let it drink and cool for a hour then check up on her If I remember this happened before right before it started growing growing idk maybe it's supposed to happen and I don't know about it

She looked fine last night but now she looks sick maybe just heat ? I just watered and added some silica 2 seconds ago or maybe the leafs are getting heavy idk just first look rightView attachment 3359170View attachment 3359171 , also the PH is fine right between 5 and 6

And this is last night View attachment 3359172
Seems Overwater , do not water anymore until your soil is pretty dry , your plant will have a very hard time to recover, i would sugest if you have more seeds , germinate another just in case that one doesn't make it.
and also you want your PH for soil to be between 6 and 6.8 .. arround 6.6 for VEg and arround 6.3 for flower.

Yeah I had 3 2 didn't make it do to the weather IM in the northeast and the mail truck got stuck kn the storms so they ended up ddeforming sucks but yeah I'm growing in hydro coco coir I let it go for the night and it dryed up the leafs became very hard and crunchy so I watered oand they are back to normal so now I'm thinking maybe I wasn't feeding her enough cuz I had my week 0 nutes made up so I was using very very low amounts of nutes I made a new batch with week 2 doses and she seems to be recovering so I'm ganna feed feed feed today and hope it helps my feed it 1 gal of water with 1424965220055438780234.jpg

And as I said I was still using the batch a made for week 0 so I think the cal mag was way too low I hope I got it but Im worries about nute burns cuz of the drying issue the tips got a lil yellowed so I'll have to keep a close eye on heR 1424965388662-534806344.jpg14249653615352113728057.jpg 1424965388662-534806344.jpg 1424965412262385318933.jpg

she is recovering after the leafs come in more in ganna remove the damaged ones

Ok I c I'm ganna try watering today cuz I followed everyone's advice of letting it dry but then it got too dry so I mean it's in coco coir not soil so I know it needs to be wet. It dry Idk I have a feeling it's not enough cal mag and if I do loose her I have 2 afghans I can plant but they are not fems so thats why I didn't just. Plant thoughs as well I had a white widow and this American pie but the white widow got deformed some how the cod leafs never separated and the rank. Leafs grew into the stem and killed it self odd but yeah so I mean If this one goes to shit I may reorder or just try and afgans and hope that at least one is fem

you are loving that plant to death. It is to young for so many nutrients, What type of soil is it in? Quit looking at it every hour. don't water till the pot is nice and light, then just give it some ph'ed water until a little runs out the bottom. Put it back under light and leave it alone.

ph in soil should be between 6 and 7, never go below 5.8

That's what I'm doing now I watered this morning and im letting it go till tonight and I'll check it it just went from being droopy last night to being way too dry and crunchy this am and the ph is around 6ish it's in coco coir and perlite so the issue is for some reason it's going from one extreme to the other with out any reason for it I water about every 3 days when needed I nuted the coco coir once about a week ago and just been using phed water ever since the temp sits around 75f and I have 1 intake fan 1 circulation fan and one exhaust So the issue is I'm in coco coir and I was in soil my last grow so do u treat coco coir like soil like with good dry periods with wet periods. But when I researched before I switched it seemed like it should always be wet

ah i tought you were in soil . coco needs to be wet yes , but until your plants have a good root system you actually can let it dry a bit , its very hard to overwater in coco when you have an established root system , but you can actually overwater them if there isn't enought root mass yet .. let it dry for a bit in the begginng , what water are you using ? tap water ?
you should check the ppm in your water , if it is hard water it will already have large ammounts of minerals like calcium and magnesium.

I c yeah in using phed tap but the water in this area Is considered the cleanest in the usa my it's just weird I know she'll recover it's just weird that it went from being droopy to being crunchy over night and I know sometimes early stages of nute issues sometimes are completely different then later stages the new growth recoved fully from 20 mins after adding water and a lil cal mag but the older growth seems to be having difficulty recovering I just wish a new set oF fan leafs would have started growing already to compensate for the loss of the newer growth that is on the 5th node I Remove lower growth and put it down deeper into the medium to create a stronger and more elaborate root system when I switched from my rockwool to the medium the tab root was pretty well established and it had a nice set of secondary roots I potted about 2 and half weeks ago so it isn't anything to do with shock but idk she's looking a lot better now maybe something happened last night like for some reason it got super hot in their and dryer her out I might have to put a cool mist humidafire in their for a day or so because my vent systems is a lil better then my last grow so I'm thinking the humidity maybe way off

if your water is so good, why are you using cal/mag?

urm ok cuz tap shouldn't have cal mag in it Unless the the pipes and the water supply aren't contained properly and is running though soil before it gets into your house and it picks up minerals and crap from the ground and I tested my tap a few times and it hardly shows any salts so it's pretty empty so I have to add cal mag cuz for some reason when u grow out of coco coir ur plant uses much much more cal mag I'm sure theirs a reason y I'm just not educated enough to know why. All I know is in coco coir u add cal mag in soil you don't need it

well, I honestly think you are frying the shit out that poor thing with all that cal/mag. regular tap should have plenty for a little girl like that.

Ok thank you, I'm using straight phed tap for the next few waters I usually let my tap sit over night in order to let most of the crap evaporate the reason y I have cal mag is because my last grow had 4 plants when I changed to coco coir my plants started to Wilt and I found out the reason was cal mag I found this out I lost 1 out of 4 in the process of trying to find out what was wrong but that was the reason after I added the cal mag and silica to my nutes after the first water it tturned around idk

forget the silica and cal/mag. Additives are only necessary if everything else is working right. Keep it simple. let them do their thing. they are to young for needed much of anything. after they straighten up. get some simple nutrient like dyna gro foliage pro. It works pretty good in coco. When you get into flowering and if you notice any rust spots or purpeling of the stems. The it needs the cal/mag.

My stems are purple and I'm thinking of switching to bottom feeding so I don't have to worry about over water/ feeding

Honestly everyone is right after staring at it and smoking it came to me it's over watered and overheated I moved it to my next area of my veg room which gives it a little more move ment with the lights right now it was reduced to 3 CFLs and they are very far from the plant I moved it to new much dryer coco coir I understand why stress it more well either way it's dead so might as well try I found the roots where very tightly bound up for some reason but I left the rootball so alone so I wouldn't further stress the plant so now I'm letting it dry and cool over night and I'll check her in the am and I know if it works she should be thirsty yet not crunchy and I can start fresh with a proper feeding schedule... The issue I thing was the set up was for 2 sapplings not one but I lost one because it didn't develop right So I never pulled the extra CFLs and I also went from my original plan of having a short pot to a taller bucket so that made it closer to the lights I'm hoping that it survives if not I have 2 Afghan back ups but they are not fems so it's a 50/50 chance of femalE I guess u live and u learn.
